Սուրբ Խաչի երեւման տոնն Արաբկիրի Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցու ուխտի օրն է։ Այդ առթիվ Մայր Աթոռից Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցի էր բերվել Քրիստոսի Խաչափայտի մասունքը.
Արարարտյան Հայրապետական թեմի առաջնորդական փոխանորդ Տեր Նավասարդ արքեպիսկոպոս Կճոյանի հանդիապետությամբ՝ տոնական Սուրբ Պատարագը մատուցեց Տեր Մուշեղ եպիսկոպոս Բաբայանը
351 թվականին Երուսաղեմի երկնքում երևաց Սուրբ խաչի նշանը՝ Գողգոթայից ձգվելով մինչև Ձիթենյաց լեռը: Նրա նշանը շողաց Գողգոթայի վրա, որտեղ խաչվեց, լույսի ճառագայթները հասան Ձիթենյաց լեռան վրա, որտեղից համբարձվեց: Սա տեսնելով 3000-ից ավելի մարդ ընդունեց Քրիստոնեություն եւ մկտրվեց Սուրբ Կյուրեղի ձեռամբ: Այդ Խորանը, որտեղ մկտրտվեցին գտնվում է Երուսաղեմի հայոց Սրբոց Հակոբյանց վանքում։
