Испания под давлением НАТО и ЕС согласилась поставить Украине партию ракет Patriot. НАТО и ЕС настаивают на том, чтобы страны, у которых есть эта система американского производства, предоставили Киеву эти ракеты для усиления противовоздушной обороны.
Как передает «Арменпресс», об этом сообщает издание El País со ссылкой на свои источники в правительстве.
Согласно данным издания, речь идет об ограниченном количестве ракет, учитывая, что стоимость каждой из них превышает €1 миллион. Кроме того, испанская армия имеет три батареи Patriot, приобретенные у Германии в 2004 и 2014 годах. Одна из них в Турции, и Мадрид отказался дать ее, две другие на военной базе автономного сообщества Валенсия.
Правительство Испании готовит новый пакет военной помощи Украине для возможных поставок к концу июня. В нем, среди прочего, десять из девятнадцати танков Leopard 2 A4, которые восстанавливаются.
