The Power of One Dram to "Moonk" technoschool

The beneficiary of "The Power of One Dram" in August was Aren Mehrabyan Foundation. AMD 4,135,630 was transferred to the fund by Idram and IDBank in order to support households with pasture problems in Noyemberyan community of Tavush marz.

The name of the beneficiary for September is also announced. This time, the whole amount gathered during September will be transferred to the "Moonq" technoschool of the "ES" educational foundation established in Artsakh in 2022, which already provides children with technological education in Armenia. The school operates in the cities of Tashir, Vanadzor and Kapan, but there is a goal to create branches in other regions of the Republic of Armenia as well.

According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, head of the Communication and CSR Department of IDBank and Idram, the work carried out by technoschool in Artsakh is extremely important, especially during the blockade phase. “Helping children escape the harsh reality, get an education and arm themselves with knowledge is truly a big job. And today, when the technoschool operates in the Republic of Armenia, great prospects and opportunities are created not only for the children of Artsakh, but also for the children of Armenia. It is important to note that by supporting such projects, IDBank and Idram companies reaffirm one of the important directions of their corporate social responsibility: education, as well as increasing digital literacy in our country," says Tatevik Vardevanyan.

Ashot Avanesyan, director of "Yes" Educational Foundation, notes: "So that young people do not leave the marzes due to lack of opportunities, we must bring the best opportunities to the marzes. At this moment, it is very important for the "Moonq" technical school to be able to ensure the continuous education of its 400 beneficiaries and to involve in the program more than 100 new applicants from 10 communities of Syunik and Lori marzes.
