Սիրիայի առաջին տիկին Ասմա Ասադը «Ռոսիա 24»–ին տված բացառիկ հարցազրույցում մեկնաբանել է Հալեպում ստեղծված հումանիտար ճգնաժամն ու խոսել Արեւմտյան լրատվամիջոցների կողմից Սիրիայում իրադարձությունները միակողմանի լուսաբանելուց։

«Ինչու՞ Սիրիայի Զարա գյուղի երեխաների ճակատագիրը լրատվամիջոցներում չէր լուսաբանվում այնպես, ինչպես Այլանի եւ Օմրանի ճակատագրերը։ Արեւմտյան լրատվամիջոցները կենտրոնացել են այդ ողբերգությունների վրա, քանի որ դրանք համապատասխանում են իրենց օրակարգին։ Հենց Արեւմուտքն է տարանջատում այդ հակամարտությանը մասնակցող մեր երեխաներին՝ նրանց ծնողների համոզմունքներից կախված։ Այլանը սիրիացի երեխա էր՝ անկախ այն հանգամանքից, թե ինչին էին հավատում նրա ծնողները, ճիշտ այնպես, ինչպես Օմրանը եւ մյուս անմեղ երեխաները, որոնք տուժել էին Զարա գյուղում ջարդերի հետեւանքով»,– ասել է Ասմա Ասադը։

Սիրիայի առաջին տիկինը մեկնաբանել է Հալեպում տիրող իրավիճակը. «Սիրիայում հումանիտար իրադրության մասին արդեն շատ է խոսվել։ Իրականում դժվար է նկարագրել իրավիճակի լրջությունը։ Մարդկանց տեղահանությունը, աղքատությունը, հիվանդությունները, տառապանքները, այդ ամենն աննախադեպ է։ Եվ արեւմտյան լրատվամիջոցները նախընտրում են կենտրոնանալ բացառապես փախստականների եւ այն մարդկանց ճակատագրերի վրա, որոնք գտնվում են զինված խմբավորումների վերահսկողության տակ գտնվող տարածքներում, այնինչ տեղահանված մարդկանց մեծ մասն ապրում է երկրի մնացած տարածքներում։ Եվ այդ մարդիկ մյուսների նման կարեւոր են»։
