Ընտրական նոր օրենսգիրքը, որը խաչ է քաշում Հայաստանում երբևէ ազատ և թափանցիկ ընտրություններ անցկացնելու տեսլականի վրա, երեկ Աժ-ում ընդունվեց 104 ձայնով, դեմ՝ 4, ձեռնպահ՝ մեկ: Ազգային ժողովում, ՀՀԿ-ՀՅԴ-ից բացի, մյուս բոլոր խմբակցություններն իրենց ընդդիմադիր են հռչակել, բայց քվեարկեցին օրենսդրական այնպիսի մի նախագծի օգտին, որի դեմ իբրև թե խոսում էին այս ողջ ընթացքում, կուրծք էին պատռում՝ ցույց տալու համար, որ իրենք դեմ են, և գալիք ընտրություններում իրենց խորհրդարան մտնելու միակ ճանապարհը արդար ընտրություններ են միայն։ Բայց արի ու տես, որ այս գրեթե բոլոր ընդդիմադիր խմբակցությունները միշտ ճվճվում են, իսկ հետո լուռ ժպիտներով կողմ քվեարկում իշխանության փաստաթղթերին, քանի որ իրենց ազատ ու արդար ընտրությունն ամենևին պետք չէ։ Հարց է՝ եթե այս ընտրություններն իսկապես ազատ լինեն, իրենք խորհրդարան կմտնեն, թե ոչ։ Բայց այսպես՝ ամեն օր տեսախցիկների առջև ՀՀԿ-ին քննադատելով, բայց նրանց նախագծերին կողմ քվեարկելով, կուլիսներում արդեն վաղուց եկել են համաձայնության, որ իշխող կուսակցությունը բոլորին կողորմա իրենց 5-ական տոկոսները, և իրենք կմտնեն խորհրդարան։
