 Երևանի Հանրապետության հրապարակի գունաձայնային շատրվանները կդադարեն գործել նոյեմբերի 1-ից: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Երեւանի քաղաքապետարանի «Ջրային կառույցներ» ՓԲԸ փոխտնօրեն Տիգրան Սաղաթելյանը: Նրա խոսքով` հաջորդ տարի նախատեսվում է փոխել գունաձայնային շատրվանների երգացանկը: «Այժմյան երգացանկը կազմվել է ֆրանսիացիների կողմից իը տարի առաջ: Նոր երգացանկը եւս կկազմեն նրանք»,-ասաց նա:

Սաղաթելյանը նշեց, որ  ինչպես նախորդ տարիներին, այս տարի եւս գունաձայնային շատրվանների նկատմամբ մեծ է եղել հետաքրքրությունը թե տեղացիների, եւ թե օտարերկրացիների շրջանում: «Այս տարի ունեցանք որոշակի տեխնիկական խնդիրներ շատրվանների հետ կապված, բայց դրանք շատ արագ լուծվել են»,-հավելեց «Ջրային կառույցներ» ՓԲԸ փոխտնօրենը:

Հանրապետության հրապարակի գունաձայնային շատրվաններն այս տարի սկսել են աշխատել ապրիլի 7-ից: Հանրապետության հրապարակի զարդը դարձած շատրվաններն աշխատում են շաբաթական վեցօրյա ռեժիմով:

Երևանի կենտրոնական շատրվանները նախագծել է ճարտարապետ Ալեքսանդր Թամանյանը դեռևս 1939 թվականին, սակայն կառուցվել են 1955 թվականին` ճարտարապետ Էդուարդ Սարապյանի նախագծով, իսկ 1970 և 1988 թվականներին վերափոխվել են գունաերաժշտական շատրվանների: Արդեն 2007 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 21-ին Հայաստանի Անկախության օրվա առթիվ Հանրապետության հրապարակի շատրվանները նորովի ներկայացան հանրությանը: Շնորհիվ Ֆրանսիայից ներկրված գունաձայնային նորագույն տեխնիկայի` ջրի շիթերի վրա ցուցադրվում է լուսային ու գունաձայնային շքեղ էֆեկտներով համակցված շոու։
