Սթրեսը պակաս կարևոր գործոն չէ։ Հիշեք, թե ինչ էմոցիոնալ վիճակում եք գտնվել, երբ այդպիսի երազ եք տեսել։ Այսպիսի երազներ մարդիկ հաճախ տեսնում են սթրես ապրելու արդյունքում։ Այս դեպքում բացատրությունը միայն ֆիզիկական է. մեր ուղեղը բարձր ակտիվություն է դրսևորում, աշխատում է իր հնարավորությունների վերջին սահմաններում, կորտիզոլ հորմոնն արագացնում է մեր բոլոր ֆունկցիաները՝ զգալիորեն մեծացնելով տագնապայնության մակարդակը։ Իսկ երբ մենք պառկում ենք քնելու, մարմինը թուլանում է։ Սակայն ուղեղն ակտիվ է մնում և շատ ավելի ակտիվ, քան սովորաբար։ Այս դեպքում նոր անհավասարակշռություն է առաջանում։ Թուլացած մարմին և ակտիվ ուղեղ համադրությունը հանկարծակի ընկնելու զգացողություն է առաջացնում, որը մենք տեսնում ենք երազում։ Մի քանի վայրկյան անց մենք արթնանում ենք անհանգստացած և մի փոքր վախեցած։
3. Երազային կաթված կամ ընդարմացում։ Սա թեթև քունն է։ Այսինքն՝ մենք, որպես կանոն, հասկանում ենք, որ մեր տեսած երազն իրական չէ, փորձում ենք ինչ-որ բան անել, բայց մարմինը չի լսում մեզ. անհնար է շարժել ձեռքը, ոտքը, արթնանալ ևս չի ստացվում։ Զգացումները շատ վառ են, առավելագույնս ինտենսիվ, ամեն ինչ իրական տեսք ունի։ Բայց երբ մենք զգում ենք ընկնելու պահը, դա ևս տհաճ զգացողություն է առաջացնում, որը մեզ ստիպում է արթնանալ։
