Հոկտեմբերի 19-ին, ժամը 23.20-ին, «Արմենիա» բժշկական կենտրոնից ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժնում հաղորդում էր ստացվել, որ կրծքավանդակի և ազդրի կտրած-ծակած վերքերով բուժօգնության է դիմել 1994 թ. ծնված Լևոն Սահակյանը:
Երիտասարդը բժիշկներին հայտնել էր, որ փողոցում՝ նախկին Շիրակ հանրախանութի մոտ, վայր է ընկել:
Ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության, Մաշտոցի բաժնի և համայնքային ոստիկանության բաժանմունքի ծառայողների ձեռնարկած օպերատիվ-հետախուզական միջոցառումների արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ Լևոն Սահակյանին, գումարային հարցերի շուրջ ծագած վիճաբանության ընթացքում, դանակահարել է 1977 թ. ծնված Վահան Ղազարյանը:
Հոկտեմբերի 20-ին, ժամը 15.50-ին, ոստիկանության ծառայողները Վահան Ղազարյանին հայտնաբերել են Երևանի Հալաբյան-Մարգարյան փողոցների խաչմերուկում, բերման ենթարկել ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժին, որտեղ նա տվել է խոստովանական ցուցմունք:
Հոկտեմբերի 21-ին, ժամը 22.35-ին «Արմենիա» բժշկական կենտրոնից հաղորդում է ստացվել, որ 22-ամյա Լևոն Սահակյանը գիտակցության չգալով մահացել է:
