ԴԱԻՇ ահաբեկչական խմբավորման գրոհայինները հարձակվել են Իրաքի արևմտյան Անբար նահանգի Ռուտբա քաղաքի վրա, սակայն զինվորականներին հաջողվել է հետ մղել հարձակումը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է AP գործակալությունը։
Հարձակումը քաղաքի վրա գրոհայինները սկսել են այսօր՝ մահապատներով երեք ականապատված մեքենաների կիրառմամբ։ Հարձակումը կատարվել է երեք ուղղություններով։ ԴԱԻՇ-ի և իրաքյան կառավարական ուժերի միջև կատաղի մարտեր են ծավալվել, որոնք շարունակվում են մինչ այժմ։ Մարտերի արդյունքում մոտ 20 գրոհային է ոչնչացվել։ Իրաքյան կողմը 30 զինվոր է կորցրել։
Քաղաքն Իրաքի բանակի կողմից ազատագրվել էր ծայրահեղականներից 2016 թվականի մայիսին։ Այդ ժամանակից ի վեր գրոհայինները բազմիցս, սակայն անհաջող փորձել են վերականգնել իրենց վերահսկողությունը քաղաքի նկատմամբ։
