Հարավային Կորեայում ծերերը կամավոր բանտ են գնում օթեւան եւ կերակուր ստանալու համար

Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում աղքատ թոշակառուներից շատերը միտումնավոր հանցագործություններ են կատարում բանտ նստելու համար, որտեղ նրանք ապահովված կլինեն տաք օթեւանով եւ սնունդով:
Արդարադատության նախարարության տվյալների համաձայն՝ երկրի պատմության մեջ առաջին անգամ 60-ից բարձր տարիքի կալանավորների թիվը գերազանցել Է կալանավորների ընդհանուր թվաքանակի 10 տոկոսը: Նրանք կատարում են Կորեայի Հանրապետությունում գրանցվող բոլոր հանցագործությունների մոտավորապես 9 տոկոսը, հաղորդել Է«Արմենպրես»-ը:
Փորձագետների կարծիքով՝ դա կապված Է ոչ միայն տնտեսական այն դժվարությունների հետ, որոնց բախվում են տարեցները: «60-ն անց մարդկանց ընդհանուր թիվը կազմել Է 19,2 տոկոս, ինչի կապակցությամբ աճում Է նաեւ պատկառելի տարիքի կալանավորների թիվը»,- Սեուլում լրագրողներին պատմել Է արդարադատության նախարարության ներկայացուցիչը: Միեւնույն ժամանակ նա ընդունել Է, որ նրանցից շատերը կամավոր են բանտ գնում, որպեսզի մի կերպ ծայրը ծայրին հասցնեն:
Ընդ որում՝ թոշակառուների զգալի մասը բանտից ազատվելուց հետո վերստին ձգտում Է հայտնվել ճաղերի հետեւում, որտեղ պետությունն իրենց ապահովում Է օթեւանով, սնունդով ու հագուստով:
«Նրանցից շատերն ասում են, որ բանտում իրենց համար ավելի լավ Է, քան ազատության մեջ»,-ասել Է պաշտոնյան: Նրա խոսքով՝ պատժաժամկետի լրանալուց հետո տարեց մարդկանց գրեթե 62 տոկոսը վերստին հանցագործություն Է կատարում ու վերադառնում բանտ: Կալանավայրերում թոշակառուները սովորաբար կատարում են թեթեւ աշխատանք, օրինակ, սոսնձում են թղթե տոպրակներ ու ծրարներ: Բացի այդ, տարին երկու անգամ նրանք բուժզննում են անցնում. շռայլություն, որն իրենց չեն կարող թույլ տալ նույնիսկ աշխատող երիտասարդները:
Կառավարությունում արդեն խորհրդածում են տարեց հանցագործների համար առանձին բանտեր ստեղծելու շուրջ, որտեղ նրանց կուսուցանեն պահանջված նոր մասնագիտություններ եւ կօգնեն վերաինտեգրվելու հասարակությանը, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը:
