Լոնդոնում սոցիոլոգիական ուսումնասիրություններից մեկի ժամանակ գիտնականները պարզել են, որ իրենց կյանքն ինքնասպանությամբ վերջացնողները հիմնականում ծնվել են ապրիլ-մայիս ամիսներին: Վիճակագրական տվյալների համաձայն՝ Խոյերն ու Ցուլերը ռիսկային գոտում են գտնվում։ Հավանականությունը, որ նրանք կարող են ինքնասպանություն գործել, 17 % է: Հարկ է նշել նաև, որ «գարնանային» ինքնասպանների մեջ կանայք 14 %-ով ավելի շատ են, քան տղամարդիկ:

Սա արդեն բացահայտել են Տոկիոյի գիտնականները: Ըստ նրանց՝ ամենամարդասեր և ոչ կոնֆլիկտային մարդիկ ծնվում են ձմռան շրջանում:
