LIFEԵրբեմն դժվար է պատկերացնել, թե ինչ չար կատակ կարող է խաղալ մարդու հետ նրա ենթագիտակցությունը։ Չար ուժե՞րը, գենետիկ խանգարումնե՞րը, թե՞ հոգեբանական տրավմաներն են այս պատմությունների մարդկանց դարձնում տարբեր. ինչ-որ բան ստիպում է նրանց կամ նրանց կողքին գտնվող մարդկանց տառապել…

5 ՔԼԻՎԼԵՆԴԻ ԳԵՐԻՆԵՐԸ: Թվում էր՝ միայն հիվանդ երևակայությունը կարող էր այսպիսի դաժան ու ահասարսուռ պատմություն հորինել, սակայն, ցավոք, այն նկարահանված է իրական դեպքերի հիման վրա, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել Քլիվլենդում։ 11 տարի մոլագար բռնաբարողի մոտ փակի տակ պահված լինելով՝ աղջկան հաջողվում է ոչ միայն չխելագարվել, այլև կարողանալ իր հետ փակի տակ պահվող մյուս աղջիկների հետ ընտանիքի անդամների նման հարաբերություններ հաստատել։ Ֆիլմն անկասկած ահասարսուռ է, սակայն խորը հոգեբանական է, և արժե հոգեկան ուժեր ծախսել այն դիտելու համար։
4 ԿՈՂՄՆԱԿԻ ԱԶԴԵՑՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ: Հանելուկներով ու տարօրինակություններով լի պատմություն այն մասին, թե ինչպես կարող են հակադեպրեսանտները բացի երջանկություն բերելուց նաև վշտի պատճառ դառնալ։ Չէ՞ որ եթե դրանք ուղեղի աշխատանքի վրա ազդեցություն են թողնում, ապա ոչ ոք չի կարող երաշխավորել, որ դա առանց հետևանքների կմնա։ Չնայած ֆիլմը «չափից շատ հոլիվուդյան է», այնուամենայնիվ, դրա դերասանական հրաշալի կազմն այն դարձնում է պարտադիր դիտելու արժանի ֆիլմ։
3 ՄԱՐԹԱ, ՄԵՐԻ ՄԵՅ, ՄԱՌԼԵՆ: Չափազանց նուրբ ու խորը ֆիլմ, որը շատ հարցեր է բարձրացնում ու դիտողին ոչ միայն անընդհատ ստիպում է գուշակել՝ արդյոք դա անձի երկատվությո՞ւն, թե՞ հիշողություններ են, այլև ստիպում է սարսափել այն մտքից, թե որքան նուրբ է այդ սահմանը, և թե որքան հեշտ այն կարող են անցնել ոչ կայուն հոգեկան աշխարհ ունեցող անձինք։
2 ԻՆՉ-ՈՐ ԲԱՆ ԱՅՆ ՉԷ ՔԵՎԻՆԻ ՀԵՏ: Թերևս չարժե նշել, որ Թիլդա Սուինթոնի ներկայությունը ֆիլմում արդեն իսկ հուշում է ֆիլմի որակի ու խորության մասին։ Սա մոր և որդու միջև ծանր հոգեբանական հարաբերությունների գեղեցիկ կինոտարբերակ է։ Եթե որդու հետ որևէ բան այն չէ, արդյո՞ք միշտ է, որ դրանում մայրը կամ նրա բնազդն է մեղավոր, թե՞ կան բաներ, որ կանայք չեն կարող փոխել։
