24-ամյա Ջեյդ Տրեշերը սովորական երիտասարդ ամերիկուհի էր Այս կենսուրախ բուժքույրը պատասխանատվությամբ էր վերաբերվում իր աշխատանքին, չէր մոռանում հանգստի մասին, ամուսանցած էր և երջանիկ էր: Սակայն մի մանրուք կար, որն աղջկան հանգիստ չէր թողնում:
2014 թվականին երիտասարդ շիկահերի քթին պզուկի նման ինչ-որ գոյացություն էր առաջացել, ինչն աղջիկը ոչ մի կերպ, ոչ մի միջոցով չէր կարողանում բուժել: Սեփական հմտությունները փորձելուց հետո, աղջիկը դիմեց մաշկաբանի: Լսելով բոլոր գանգատները՝ բժիշկը մռայլվեց: Աղջիկը սարսափելի ախտորոշում լսեց: Պարզվեց, որ քթի վրայի այդ հետքը քաղցկեղի մասին է վկայում:
Սարսափելի հիվանդության պատճառն արագ հայտնաբերվեց: 11 տարեկանից սկսած Ջեյդը շաբաթը երկու անգամ սոլյարի է հաճախել: Հասկանալով, թե որքան վտանգավոր կարող է լինել նման ճառագայթումը՝ աղջիկը պրոցեդուրայի ընթացքում ծածկել է դեմքը և երկար չի մնացել: Բայց արդյունքում նրան չի հաջողվել պաշտպանվել:
Բարեբախտաբար, Ջեյդը ժամանակին է բժշկի դիմել: Մաշկի վնասված հատվածը դեռ այնքան էլ մեծ չի եղել, այնպես որ դժվար չէր լինի այն հեռացնել: Բժիշկները մինչև վերջին պահը չեն կարողացել ասել, թե աղջկա քթի որքան մասը պետք է հեռացնեն: Այդ պատճառով վիրահատության նախորդող երկու օրերն իսկական մղձավանջ էին դարձել Ջեյդի համար:
Առաջին վիրահատությունը հաջող ավարտվեց: Բայց հենց այդ օրը ևս մեկ վիրահատություն տեղի ունեցավ: Ջեյդը չէր պատրաստվում քթի վրա նման անցքով ապրել: Հենց այդ պատճառով էլ բժիշկները պատրաստվում էին աղջկա քթին իր սեփական կրծքի մաշկը փոխպատվաստել:
Վիրահատությունից հետո բժիշկներն արգելել էին աղջկան կպչել քթին և խորհուրդ էին տվել որքան հնարավոր է գլուխը քիչ շարժել:
Այժմ աղջկա քթի սպին լավանում է, գրեթե աննկատ է դառնում, բայց ահա կրծքի սպիի հետ ամեն ինչ այդպես հեշտ չէ: Չնայած դա այնքան էլ չի մտահոգում Ջեյդին, քանի որ ամեն ինչ կարող էր շատ ավելի վատ ավարտ ունենար:
