Գերմանացի գիտնականը քաղցկեղային հիվանդությունները կապակցել է տավարի մսի հետ

Կովերի մոտ հանդիպող քիչ ուսումնասիրված վիրուսը կարող է ուռուցքային հիվանդություններ առաջացնել մարդու մոտ, համարում է Ֆիզիոլոգիայի բնագավառում 2008 թ. Նոբելյան մրցանակակիր, գերմանացի գիտնական Հարալդ ցուր Հաուզենը:

Առաջ էլ էին որոշ հետազոտողներ կոլոռեկտալ քաղցկեղի առաջացման բարձր ռիսկը կապակցում սննդի մեջ տավարի, հորթի, ձիու, ոչխարի ու խոզի ՝ այսինքն այսպես կոչված կարմիր մսի գործածման հետ: Հարալդ ցուր Հաուզենը սակայն ենթադրում է, որ վտանգավոր է միայն տավարի միսը, ու որքան էլ տարօրինակ չթվա՝ կաթը:

Գիտնականի ուշադրությունը գրավել է այն փաստը, որ Մոնղոլիայում, որտեղ շատ են օգտագործում կարմիր միս, հաստ աղիքի քաղցկեղը շափազանց հազվադեպ է հանդիպում: Գիտնականների կարծիքով սա բացատրվում է նրանով, որ այդ երկրում գերազանցաբար օգտագործում են գոմեշների ու տեղական հիբրիդային տեսակի կովերի միսը: Հիվանդացության մակարդակը ցածր է նաեւ Հնդկաստանում, որտեղ տավարի մսի գործածումը արգելված է հինդուիզմի կանոններով:

Հարավային Կորեայում ու ճապոնիայում կոլոռեկտալ քաղցկեղով հիվանդացության մակարդակը կտրուկ աճել է Երկրորդ համաշխարհային պատերազմից հետո: Հարալդ ցուր Հաուզենը դա պայմանավորում է ներմուծվող տավարի մսի ծավալի աճով: Միեւնույն ժամանակ այդ երկրներում զգալիորեն ավելի հազվադեպ է հանդիպում կրծքագեղձի քաղցկեղը, ինչը նրա կարծիքով բացատրվում է կովի կաթի ու կաթնամթերքի նվազագույն գործածումով:

Ուսումնասիրելով կովի արյան ու կաթի նմուշները՝ գիտնականը դրանցում հայտնաբերել է ԴՆԹ տարրեր, որը ըստ նրա հիպոթեզի՝ կարող է պատկանալ քաղցկեղային հիվանդություններ  առաջացնող անհայտ վիրուսի: Բայց գիտնականը դեռ պետք է հիմնավորի այս տեսությունը, որը շարադրված է International Journal of Cancer ամսագրի վերջին համարում, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
