Առողջապահության Համաշխարհային կազմակերպության և ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամի կողմից Ժնևում կազմակերպած համաժողովը նվիրված էր «Մանկանը բարեկամ հիվանդանոց» նախաձեռնության 25-ամյակին, ձեռքբերումներին, քաղված դասերին և հետագա անելիքներին։  Աշխարհի ավելի քան 100 երկրի 300 պատվիրակների և փորձագետների համար դա եզակի հնարավորույուն էր ծանոթանալու երեխաների առողջությանը և բարեկեցությանն ուղղված առկա զարգացումներին։ Մասնավորապես, կարևորվել են, թե ինչ արդյունքներ են գրանցվել կրծքով կերակրման խրախուսմանը և արհեստական կաթնախառնուրդների մարկետինգի սահմանափակմանն ուղղված միջազգային օրենսգրքի կիրարկման շնորհիվ։ Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարարությունից:

Խմբային թեմատիկ քննարկումների միջոցով մասնակիցները ներկայացրել են իրենց երկրներում առկա իրավիճակը, հաջողությունները և մարտահրավերները։ Նշենք, որ ԱՊՀ երկրների շարքում մեր երկիրն առանձնացել է այս ոլորտում գրանցած հաջողություններով։ Հայաստանն աշխարհի 31 այն երկրներից մեկն է, որն ընդունել է օրենք, որում ամբողջությամբ արտացոլված են  միջազգային օրենսգրքի դրույթները։

Մեր երկրում արձանագրված արդյունքները համաժողովում ներկայացրել են ՀՀ ԱՆ աշխատակազմի մոր և մանկան առողջության պահպանման վարչության պետ Կարինե Սարիբեկյանը և ՄԱԿ-ի մանկական հիմնադրամի ներկայացուցիչներ Լիանա Հովակիմյանն ու Միհրան Հակոբյանը։
