Սիրիացի զինվորականները և աշխարհազորայինները նախ հետ մղելով ահաբեկչական խմբավորումների հարձակումները Հալեպի հարավ-արևմուտքում՝ 500 գրոհային են ոչնչացրել, ևս 1 000 ահաբեկիչ վիրավոր է: Այս մասին հայտնում է «Ալ-Մայադին» հեռուստաալիքը՝ հղում անելով աղբյուրին:
Դրա հետ կապված պաշտոնական տեղեկություն սիրիական բանակի ներկայացուցիչներից չի ստացվել:
Հաղորդվում է, որ գրոհայինները սպանվել են հարձակման առաջին ալիքի ժամանակ, որը սկսվել է ուրբաթ առավոտյան:
Շաբաթ օրը ահաբեկիչները կազմակերպել են հարձակման երկրորդ փուլ Ազ-Զահրա թաղամասում: Բանակին և աշխարհազորայիններին հաջողվել է հետ մղել գրոհը: Սակայն ռազմական ակադեմիայի համար դաժան մարտերը շարունակվում են: Հարձակումն ահաբեկիչներն ուղեկցում են ականապատ զրահատեխնիկայի և մահապարտների պայթեցմամբ:
