Ավելի քան 20 մլն ընտրողներ արդեն վաղաժամկետ քվեարկել են ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահական ընտրություններում: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հոկտեմբերի 31-ին հայտնել Է  New York Times թերթը:

«Առնվազն 21 մլն մարդ արդեն քվեարկել Է ամբողջ երկրում: Այն նահանգներում, որոնք առավել մեծ հավանականությամբ կվճռեն ընտրությունների ելքը, այդ թվում՝ Ֆլորիդայում, Կոլորադոյում եւ Նեւադայում, քվեարկել Է ընտրազանգվածի արդեն գրեթե քառորդ մասը»,-նշում Է թերթը:

Հրատարակության տվյալներով՝ թեեւ ձայները չեն հաշվվելու մինչեւ քվեարկության օրը, ընտրատեղամասերում գրանցված դեմոկրատները հանրապետականներից ավելի շատ են հանգուցային նահանգներում, ինչպիսիք են Հյուսիսային Կարոլինան, Կոլորադոն եւ Նեւադան, որտեղ քվեարկությունն ամբողջ ծավալով սկսվել Է մեկ շաբաթ առաջ:

ԱՄՆ-ում տարածված Է վաղաժամկետ քվեարկությունը, ավելի հաճախ անձամբ, բայց պատահում Է նաեւ քվեարկությունը փոստով: Վաղաժամկետ քվեարկածների բաժինը հաճախ մի քանի տասնյակ տոկոս Է կազմում քվեարկած ընտրողների ընդհանուր թվում: Այս տարի արդեն քվեարկել Է նախագահ Բարաք Օբաման. նա Չիկագոյի ընտրական տեղամաս Է ներկայացնել հոկտեմբերի 7-ին:

Ընդամենը նախագահական վերջին ընտրություններում քվեարկել Է շուրջ 127 մլն մարդ, որոնցից մոտավորապես 30 միլիոնը՝ վաղաժամկետ:

ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահի, Ներկայացուցիչների պալատի, Սենատի մեկ երրորդի, ինչպես նաեւ մի շարք նահանգապետների եւ նահանգների օրենսդիր մարմինների մեծամասնության ընտրությունները նշանակված են նոյեմբերի 8-ին, հաղորդել Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
