Յուրքանչյուր մարդու մասին կարելի է դատել նրա արարքներով։ Այսօրվա մեր պատմության հերոսը Քայլ Կարպենտերն է, ով 2009 թ.–ին հաշվառվեց ԱՄՆ ռազմածովային ուժերի հետևակում, իսկ մեկ տարի անց դարձավ իր երկրի հերոսը։ Նրա պատմությունը պատմություն է հերոսության, ինքնազոհության, վճռականության և անհավանական առողջացման մասին։
Քեյլը սարսափելի խեղումներ էր ստացել` պաշտպանելով իր ծառայակիցներին։ Նրանց ջոկատը ծուղակն էր ընկել։ Խմբի վրա նետված նռնակը տեսնելով, Քեյլը միանգամից ցատկել էր դրա վրա` իր վրա ընդունելով հիմնական հարվածը. ծառայակիցները թեթև վնասվածքներ էին ստացել։
Երբ բժիշկները ժամանեցին դեպքի վայր, նրանք մի շարք վնասվածքներ արձանագրեցին երիտասարդի մոտ. գանգի կոտրվածք, ծածված թոք և այլն։ Նրանք վստահ էին, որ Քեյլը չի ապրի…
Բայց նա ապրեց։ 2,5 տարի անցկացնելով հիվանդոնոցում և տանելով 40–ից ավել վիրահատություն, Քեյլը վերադարձավ բնականոն կյանքի։
Բացի այդ, 2014–ին Քեյլը Պատվո շքանշանի արժանացավ` ամենաբարձր պարգևը, որին կարող է արժանանալ ԱՄՆ զինծառայողը։
Այս տարի նա իրականացրեց իր երազանքը, որին ձգտում էր բուժման ողջ ընթացքում. նա մասնակցեց մարաթոնյան վազքին։
Այսօր Քեյլը այս տեսքն ունի։
