Հայաստանն ակնկալում է մոտ ապագայում ավարտին հասցնել Եվրոպական Միության հետ համագործակցության նոր և համապարփակ իրավական փաստաթղթի շուրջ բանակցությունները: Ազգային ժողովում ՀՀ 2017 թ. պետական բյուջեի նախագծի քննարկման ժամանակ այս մասին ասաց ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Նազարյանը: «Բանակցությունները մեկնարկել են 2015 թ.: Այս ընթացքում մենք բանակցությունների 6 փուլ արդեն ունեցե լ ենք: Հաջորդ փուլը նախատեսվում է այս տարվա դեկտեմբերին, Բրյուսելում»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ ասաց Նազարյանը:
Կարեն Նազարյանը հավելեց, որ Եվրոպական Միության հետ համագործակցությունը շարունակում է մնալ Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքականության առաջնահերթություններից մեկը: «Լիահույս ենք, որ մեր համագործակցությունը կընդլայնվի և մենք կկարողանանք իրականություն դարձնել բարեփոխումները, որոնց շուրջ երկար տարիներ աշխատում ենք Եվրոպական Միության հետ»,- նշեց Նազարյանը:
Նա հավելեց, որ 2016 թ. Եվրոպական միության հետ համագործակցության առումով Հայաստանի համար ինտենսիվ ժամանակաշրջան է եղել: Շարունակվել են երկկողմ արտաքին քաղաքական շփումները, ստորագրվել են համագործակցության վերաբերյալ փաստաթղթեր:
