Այս հղի կինը սուր ցավերով տեղափոխվեց հիվանդանոց. հետազոտության արդյունքները ցնցեցին թե՛ նրան, թե՛ բժիշկներին (լուսանկարներ)

Երբ Կարենը և Յեն Հիլբերտը դեռ ներապսակներ էին, նրանք իմացան, որ Կարենը հղի է։ Ամուսինները կարծում էին, որ մի երեխայի են սպասում, բայց հանկարծ Կարենի փորը սկսեց լուրջ ցավեր պատճառել։ Նա վախեցավ, որ կարող է երեխային վնաս պատճառել։
Պարզվեց, որ Կարենը սխալվել էր երեխաների քանակի հարցում։
Ինչպես պարզվեց, նորապսակները եռյակ էին սպասում, իսկ ցավերը այն պատճառով էին անհանգստացնում, որ երեխաները վիճում էին մայրիկի փորի տեղի համար։
Սա անհավանական է, բայց եռյակները միաձվանի էին, ինչը չափազանց հազվադեպ է պատահում։
Բայց բժիշկները սարսափելի բան էին պնդում: Նրանք առաջարկում էին Կարենին որ Յենին ընդհատել հղիությունը, որովհետև երեխաների առողջությունը ռիսկի տակ էր։ Քանի որ երեխաները ընկերքը իրենց մեջ էին բաժանում, մի երեխան կարող էր մնացած երկուսին զրկել սնվելու հնավարությունից։
Բայց ամուսինները որոշեցին, որ չեն ընդհատի հղիությունը։ Եռյակը ծնվեց Կեսարյան հատմամբ երկու ամիս նշանակվածից շուտ։
Կարենը և Յենը երեխաներին կոչեցին Ֆիոնա, Մեդիսոն և Փեյջ:
Շուտով ծնողներին նոր անակնկալ էր սպասվում, որը նրանք ընդհանրապես չէին սպասում։ Եռյակները այնքան նման էին, որ անգամ մայրն ու հայրը չէին կարողանում տարբերել։ Դա հասավ այն բանին, որ անհնար էր որոշել թե ում են արդեն կերակրել, իսկ ում՝ ոչ։ Եվ այդ ժամանակ ծնողները հնարամտություն արեցին։
Նրանք որոշեցին երեխաների ոտքի եղունգները տարբեր գույներով ներկել։ Իրենց անունների առաջին տառը սկսվում էր գույնի առաջին տառով։
Օրինակ Ֆիոնայի գույնը մանուշակագույնն էր, կանաչը Մեդիսոնինը, փիրուզագունը՝ Փեյջինը։
Ծնողների համար սա էր միակ ելքը իրավիճակից դուրս գալու համար։ Հիմա նրանց ավելի հեշտ է հետևել երեխաներին։ Նրանց ավագ դուստր Ֆեյը օգնում էր երեխաների ոտքերին լաք քցել։
Կարենը ասում է, որ նրա գլխում առաջացավ գույներով տարբերելու միտքը, որբ համացանցում նյութ կարդաց, որ զույգերի մայրը խառնում էր երեխաներին։ Ի վերջո կինը ստիպված էր եղել երեխաների անունները փոխել։ Կարենը որոշեց խուսափել նման բաներից։
Այսօր Յենը և Կարենը ավելի հեշտ են տարբերում աղջիկներին։ Նրանք հիմա տարբեր գույների կոշիկներ են հագնում։
Կարենի խոսքերով, նա երեք անգամ ավելի շատ հոգս ունի, բայց նա ոչ մի դեպքում չէր հրաժարվի դրանից։
