1. Ուշադիր եղեք այն ամենի հանդեպ, ինչ Դուք նրանց ասում եք: Մեծերը այնքան էլ չեն հետևում իրենց ասածներին, երբ խոսում են երեխաների հետ: Շատերն են իրենց երեխաներին ալարկոտ, հիմար, անտաղանդ  անվանում՝ դրանով իսկ վնասելով երեխային, որովհետև երեխաները ներշնչվող են և որոշ ժամանակ անց նրանք իրենց հենց այդպես էլ պահում են՝ անհետաքրքրասեր, ալարկոտ, անընդունակ:

2. Չի կարելի երեխային վախեցնել հրեշներով, գայլերով, ոստիկաններով: Դա նրանց ո՛չ խելացի կդարձնի, ո՛չ էլ զգոն:

3. Երեխաներին դաստիարակեք՝ նրանց համար հրաշալի օրինակ լինելով: Երեխաները չեն սիրում հրահանգներ ու թեզեր: Նրանք ուզում են տեսնել Ձեր արարքները և ոչ թե լսել Ձեր խոսքերը:

4. Ցանկացած իրավիճակում մնացեք ձեր բարձունքի վրա: Երեխայի առաջ մի՛ ցուցադրեք Ձեր թերությունները, թուլություններն ու անզորությունը: Երբ ծնողները թույլ են տալիս երեխաներին տեսնել իրենց թուլությունները, երեխաները կորցնում են իրենց կողմնորոշիչները կյանքում, որովհետև նրանք այլևս հենման կետ չեն տեսնում ձեր մեջ:

5. Իրեն թույլ ու փոքր զգացող երեխան իր վրա պարտադիր պիտի զգա մեծերից մեկի հովանավորությունն ու հոգատարությունը: Երեխան իր ծնողի մեջ մշտապես փնտրում է ֆիզիկական ու հոգևոր հենարան: Երբ երեխան ընտանիքում ականատես է դառնում ծնողների վեճերին ու կռիվներին, տեսնում է նրանց սուտը, նրանց դժբախտ լինելը, ապա նա չի կարող ճիշտ դաստիարակվել: Երբ երեխան տեսնում է, որ իր հայրը կամ մայրն իրենց սխալ են պահում, նա իրեն մոլորված է զգում և սկսում է ըմբոստանալ: Ահա սա էլ դառնում է շատ ընտանիքների ու հասարակության մեծ դժբախտության պատճառը:

6. Լավ կլինի երբեք չհարվածել երեխային: Ծայրահեղ դեպքում, եթե նա դա իսկապես վաստակել է, մի թեթև ապտակը նրան չի վնասի: Երբեք բարկության ու ցասումի պահին մի՛ պատժեք երեխային: Նրա մոտ պատիժը կընկալվի որպես ատելության, չարության, այլ ոչ թե արդարության վերականգնման դրսևորում: Իսկ իսկական ճիշտ դաստիարակության հիմքում ընկած է հետևյալը. երեխան պետք է հասկանա, որ Դուք արդար եք և դրա համար էլ ճիշտ եք, երբ պատժում եք նրան:

7. Ահա թե ինչու երեխային պատժելիս Ձեր աչքերում ատելություն ու չարիք չպիտի լինի: Երեխան շատ արագ կմոռանա ապտակը, բայց այդ հայացքը՝ երբեք: Երեխային պատժել պետք է ոչ թե նրա համար, որ Ձեր համբերությունը հատել է, այլ նրա համար, որ երեխան հասկանա իր սխալը և հետևի վարքի այն կանոններին, որոնք բոլորի համար են:

8. Երեխաները պետք է անսահման վստահեն իրենց ծնողներին: Դա երեխային համերաշխ ու սիրող ընտանիքում մեծացնելու հիմնական պայմանն է: Այդպիսի ընտանիքում է մեծացել Հիսուսը և դրա համար էլ 33 տարի ապրել է՝ ծնողներին հնազանդ:
