Թուրքիայի Եվրամիության նախարար Օմեր Չելիքը հանդիպել է երկում ԵՄ անդամ երկրների դեսպանների հետ` խոսելու Թուրքիայում վերջին զարգացումների վերաբերյալ: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է թուրքական «Անադոլու» գործակալությունը:

Հանդիպումից հետո լրագրողների հետ զրույցում Չելիքը խոսել է Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցության պատգամավորների ձերբակալման ու կալանավորման մասին` ասելով, թե վերջիններս ահաբեկչական խմբավորման օգտին քարոզչություն են իրականացրել: Նա հայտարարել է, որ իրենք կուսակցությունը փակելու նպատակ չեն հետապնդում:

Չելիքը միաժամանակ մեղադրել է Եվրամիությանը Քրդական բանվորական կուսակցության (PKK) հարցում կրկնակի չափորոշիչներ կիրառելու մեջ:

Ժողովուրդների դեմոկրատական կուսակցության պատգամավորների ձերբակալությունից հետո նոյեմբերի 4-ին Եվրամիության անդամ երկրների դեսպաններն Անկարայում հրատապ հանդիպում էին հրավիրել: Հրատապ հանդիպման արդյունքում որոշում է կայացվել ԵՄ երկրներում դիվանագիտական ծառայություն իրականացնող Թուրքիայի դեսպաններին կանչել արտաքին գործերի նախարարություն և պարզաբանում պահանջել:

Արտաքին գործերի և անվտանգության քաղաքականության Եվրամիության Բարձր ներկայացուցիչ, Եվրոպական հանձնաժողովիփոխնախագահ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին ավելի վաղ հայտարարություն էր արել այն մասին, որ Եվրամիությունը խորապես մտահոգված է քրդական ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորների ձերբակալության առնչությամբ: Նա հայտնել էր, որ այս առնչությամբ նա Անկարայում ԵՄ դեսպանների րտակարգ հանդիպում է հրավիրել:
