Toyota Motor ճապոնական ավտոմոբիլային կորպորացիան մինչեւ 2020 թվականը կգործարկի Էլեկտրամոբիլների զանգվածային արտադրություն: Ինչպես նոյեմբերի 7-ին հայտնել Է «Նիկեյ» գործարար թերթը, կորպորացիան մտադիր Է մշակել ավտոմեքենա, որը կկարողանա առնվազն 300 կիլոմետր անցնել մարտկոցի մեկ լիցքավորմամբ: Նրա համար հարթակ կարող են դառնալ Prius մոդելները կամ Coroll a սեդանը, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Toyota Էլեկտրամոբիլների զանգվածային արտադրության գործարկումը ժամանակի առումով կարող Է համընկնել 2020 թվականի ամառային Օլիմպիադայի հետ, երբ համաշխարհային հանրակցության ողջ ուշադրությունը կկենտրոնանա Ճապոնիայի վրա:
