«Հայկական ժամանակ» թերթը գրում է. «ՀԺ»-ին հայտնի դարձավ, որ անցած տարի մեծ հնչեղությամբ ԱԱԾ-ի կողմից վնասազերծված հանցախմբին ֆինանսավորել է հայ Անտոն ծայրագույն վարդապետ Թոթոնջյանը: Վերջինս հեղաշրջում սկսելու համար գումար է տվել Արթուր Վարդանյանին:
Հայ Անտոնը Արթուր Վարդանյանին է փոխանցել 70 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար: Թոթոնջյանը Արթուր Վարդանյանի հետ ծանոթացել է «Ռադիո Մարիամի» լրագրող, գործով մեղադրյալ Լիլիթ Թորոսյանի միջոցով:
Հիշեցնենք, որ հայր Անտոնը կալանավորվել է, ապա 2 ամիս անց՝ հունվարին, ազատ արձակվել: Նրա նկատմամբ խափանման միջոց է ընտրվել չհեռանալու մասին ստորագրությունը:
Հայ Անտոնը ցուցմունքներում չի հերքել, որ ինքն է խմբին ֆինանսավորել: Մեր տեղեկություններով, 70 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլարը Հայ Անտոնին տվել էին Գյումրիում ինչ-որ շենք կառուցելու համար:
Մեզ հայտնի դարձավ, որ զինված խմբի անդամներից շատերը անձամբ Արթուրին վաճառել են զենք-զինամթերք, որոնցից մեծ մասը տեղյակ չեն եղել, թե ինչի համար են այդ զենքերը օգտագործվելու: Քրեական գործում գոյություն ունեն նաեւ ցուցմունքներ, որ Արթուր Վարդանյանը սպառնացել է մի քանիսին, որ հեղաշրջումից ետ կանգնելու դեպքում պատասխան կտան իրենց ընտանիքի անդամները: Արթուր Վարդանյանը, սակայն, իր ցուցմունքում հերքել է այդ սպառնալիքները, դրանք որպես սուտ որակելով: Անդրադառնալով՝ զենք-զինամթերքին Վարդանյանը իր ցուցմունքում նշել է. «Իմ ունեցած կանխատեսումների համաձայն՝ Արցախի շրջանները պետք է հանձնվեին Ադրբեջանին եւ եթե իշխանությունն այդպիսի որոշում կայացներ, ապա զենքը կիրառվելու էր Արցախի ինքնապաշտպանության ժամանակ...: Այն բոլոր ծրագրերը, որոնք ես ունեցել եմ, եղել են հանուն հայ ազգի, Հայաստանի եւ Արցախի»:
