«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Օրերս հայտնել էինք, որ ՀՀ ոստիկանապետ Վլադիմիր Գասպարյանի փեսան՝ ՀՀԿ-ական պատգամավոր Արթուր Գեւորգյանը, ԱՄՆ-ում երկու անշարժ գույք է ձեռք բերել։ Ընդ որում, կոնդոմինիումներից մեկը ձեռք է բերել այս տարվա փետրվարին, ԱՄՆ Կալիֆորնիա նահանգի Վալի Վիլեջ քաղաքում 475 հազար ԱՄՆ դոլար ընդհանուր արժեքով, որից 200 հազար դոլար կանխավճար է տրվել ֆինանսավորող բանկին։ Մեկ այլ առանձնատուն Արթուր Գեւորգյանը ԱՄՆ-ում ձեռք է բերել անցած տարի հոկտեմբեր ամսին՝ այս անգամ Գլենդելում, 520 հազար դոլար արժողությամբ՝ 200 հազար դոլար վճարելով ֆինանսավորող կազմակերպությանը։
ԱԺ հանրապետական պատգամավորը լրատվամիջոցներից մեկի հետ զրույցում հերքել է մեր տեղեկությունը. «Մեծ հաճույքով կցանկանայի ունենալ մեկ, երկու, երեք առանձնատուն, սակայն սրանք անհեթեթ խոսակցություններ են։ Հատուկ խելացի լինել պետք չէ՝ հասկանալու համար, որ ցանկացած երկրում բանկային համակարգից օգտվելու համար պետք է ունենաս ինչ-որ կարգավիճակ՝ ապրելու իրավունք, քաղաքացիություն կամ Գրին քարտ։ Տուրիստը չի կարող օգտվել այդ երկրի բանկային համակարգից»,- ասել է Գեւորգյանը՝ հավելելով. «Իսկ եթե կան այնպիսիք, ովքեր համոզված են, որ կա այդ առանձնատունը, ապա նվիրում եմ նրանց»,- ասել է նա։
