Աղձքի պեղավայրում բացվեց հայոց արքաների մասունքներն ամփոփող մասունքատուփ- սունդուկը

Արագածոտնի մարզի Աղձք գյուղի պեղավայրում բացվեց Աղձքի արշավախմբի կողմից պեղված երեք մասունքատուփ-սունդուկներից ամենամեծը, որտեղ եւս հայտնաբերվեցին հայոց արքաների մասունքներ: ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարար Արմեն Ամիրյանի խոսքով` պեղավայրում աշխատանքներ իրականացնելու համար ֆինանսավորում հատկացվում է 2014 թվականից սկսած:
«2016 թվականին հուշարձանի պեղման համար հատկացվել է 17 միլիոն դրամ: Այս պեղավայրում արդյունքները ցույց են տվել, որ մենք պետք է շարունակենք պեղման աշխատանքները»,-ասաց նախարարը:
Հնագետ, Աղձքի պեղավայրի արշավախմբի ղեկավար Հակոբ Սիմոնյանը նշեց, որ Աղձքի պեղավարում այս տարվա աշխատանքները սկսել են մայիս ամսից եւ շարունակվում են մինչ հիմա: «Այստեղ աշխատում է պատմամշակութային ժառանգություն գիտահետազոտական կենտրոնի արշավախումբը: Հունգարացիներն ու իրանցիները եւս հետաքրքված են այս հուշարձանով եւ նրանք առաջիկայում եւս կընդգրկվեն արշավախմբի մեջ»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց նա:
Սիմոնյանի խոսքով` առաջիկայում պեղավայրի տարածքում նախատեսվում է ստեղծել հայոց պետականությանը նվիրված թանգարան, որտեղ էլ կպահվեն հուշարձանից պեղված նմուշները:
Արշակունի թագավորների աճյունները ամփոփված են եղել Աղձքի արքայական դամբարանում, որը թվագրված է 4-րդ դարի երկրորդ կեսով։ Իսկ 5-րդ դարում դամբարանին կից կառուցվել է բազիլիկ եկեղեցի, որը վերակառուցվել է 19-րդ դարում։
Փավստոս Բուզանդի վկայությամբ՝ Պարսից Շապուհ Բ արքան 364 թվականին գրավելով Անի-Կամախը՝ փորձել է այնտեղ թաղված հայ թագավորների աճյունները Պարսկաստան փոխադրել: Պարսիկների պատկերացմամբ՝ մասունքների հետ միասին իրենց երկիր կտեղափոխվեր նաեւ նրանց «փառքը, բախտն ու քաջությունը»։ Սակայն Վասակ Մամիկոնյանը, Այրարատ նահանգում հաղթելով պարսիկներին, խլել է հայոց արքաների աճյուններն եւ դրանք հողին հանձնել Աղձքում։
2016 թվականն կատարվեց բացառիկ հայտնագործություն, եկեղեցու խորանի առջեւ, սալահատակի ներքո բացվեցին քարե մասունքատուփ-սունդուկներ, որոնց մեջ ավելի քան 1650 տարի առաջ ամփովել էին հայոց արքաների մասունքները: Հնում հավատում էին, որ մեծ արքաների ոսկորներն օժտված են գերբնական ուժով եւ հովանի են Հայաստան երկրին:
