Fox News հեռուստաալիքի հաղորդավարուհի Մեգին Քելլին կարծում է, որ ԱՄՆ նարընտիր նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփը նախընտրական քարոզարշավի ընթացքում փորձել է կաշառել իրեն և այլ լրագրողների: Associated Press-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին ասվում է Քելլիի գրքում, որը պետք է երեքշաբթի լույս տեսնի:

Գործակալությունը նշում է, որ իր տրամադրության տակ է հայտնվել հրատարակության կրկնօրինակը: Գրքում ասվում է, որ Թրամփը, փորձելով հասնել նախընտրական պայքարի՝ իր համար ձեռնտու լուսաբանման, Քելլիին առաջարկել է տարատեսակ նվերներ, այդ թվում՝ իր հյուրանոցներից մեկում անվճար կեցություն: Հաղորդավարուհին նշում է, որ հաստատապես մերժել է միլիարդատիրոջ բոլոր առաջարկները: Գրքում ասվում է, որ հանրապետականն այդպիսի փորձեր ձեռնարկել է այլ լրագրողների դեպքում ևս:

Քելլին գրում է, որ ԶԼՄ-ների որոշ աշխատակիցներ ընդունել են Թրամփի նվերները, սակայն չեզոք երևալու համար ժամանակ առ ժամանակ քննադատել են նրան: Հաղորդավարուհին անուններ չի նշում:

Նախընտրական արշավի ընթացքում Թրամփն ասել է, որ հակակրանք է տածում Քելլիի նկատմամբ, որը հեռուստաբանավեճի ժամանակ իրեն անհարմար հարց է տվել կանանց հանդեպ հանրապետականի վերաբերմունքի մասին: Հաղորդավարուհին նաև բազմիցս խստորեն քննադատել է միլիարդատիրոջը:
