Նոյեմբերի 12-ին տեղի ունեցավ «Միասնություն» համազգային շարժման առաջին համաժողովը, որին, ինչպես հայտարարվել էր, միացել էին նաև «Երիտասարդ եզդիներ» հասարակական կազմակերպության անդամները: Հ/Կ նախագահ Սաիդ Ավդալյանը նկատեց, որ «Միասնություն»-ը վերկուսակցական շարժում է, և այն նմանեցրեց Ղարաբաղյան շարժմանը, որի ժամանակ իրար թիկունք կանգնած, կռվում էին հայերն ու եզդիները:
«Հայաստանը, Արցախը մեր հայրենիքն է, ոչ միայն հայերի, այլ նաև եզդիների հայրենիքը: Այս հողում են ծնվում, մեծանում, ընտանիք կազմում, իրենց կարիերան ստեղծում ինչպես հայերը, այնպես էլ եզդիները: Սա մեր երկիրն է, մեր հայրենիքը, որի համար վաղուց ի վեր արյուն են թափել հայն ու եզդին միասին դեռևս հին ժամանակներից սկսած:
Ղարաբաղյան ազատագրական շարժումը համազգային, համաժողովրդական շարժում էր, որի ժամանակ հայերի կողքին, հայերին թիկունք կանգնեցին նաև եզդիները՝ տալով բազմաթիվ զոհեր ու վիրավորներ: Սակայն մենք կռվում էինք մեր հայրենիքի, մեր ազգի, մեր եղբայր հայ ազգի ու մեր ընտանիքների անվտանգության ու ապահովության համար:
«Միասնություն» շարժումն իր էությամբ համաժողովրդական ու համազգային շարժում է, քանի որ նրա կազմում ընդգրկված են բազմաթիվ երիտասարդներ, այդ թվում նաև եզդի երիտասարդներ: «Միասնություն» շարժումը նման է Ղարաբաղյան շարժմանը, որի ժամանակ, իրար թիկունք կանգնած, կռվում էին հայերն ու եզդիները: Այսօր էլ «Միասնություն» շարժումը համախմբում է հայերին ու եզդիներին»,- ասաց Ավդալյանը:
Վերջինս նշեց, որ իր համար «Միասնություն»-ը վերկուսակցական շարժում է՝ վեր դասական կուսակցության չափանիշներից. «Այն առաջին հերթին համաժողովրդական շարժում է, իսկ դրա վկայությունը շարժման կազմի օր-օրի ավելացող թվաքանակն է:
Ես՝ ՀՀ քաղաքացիս, եզդի ազգի ներկայացուցիչս հավատում եմ «Միասնություն» շարժման հաղթանակին, և իրապես, մենք հաղթելու ենք ձեր վստահության շնորհիվ: Մենք չենք քննադատելու, ոչ նան, ոչ էլ մյուսին: Մենք արձանագրում ենք խնդիրներ և լուծում ենք տալու դրանց»,- ասաց նա:
