ԳԴՀ-ի կառավարող կոալիցիան երկրի նախագահի պաշտոնի համար կառաջադրի Շտայնմայերի թեկնածությունը

ԳԴՀ-ի կառավարող կոալիցիայի (ՔԴՄ/ՔՍՄ դաշինքը եւ Գերմանիայի սոցիալ-դեմոկրատական կուսակցությունը) մեջ մտնող կուսակցությունների ղեկավարները պայմանավորվել են Ֆրանկ Վալտեր Շտայնմայերին առաջադրել Գերմանիայի նախագահի պաշտոնի թեկնածու: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, նոյեմբերի 14-ին հայտնել Է n-tv հեռուստաալիքը:
Ավելի վաղ ՔԴՄ-ի, ՔՍՄ-ի եւ ԳՍԴԿ-ի ղեկավարները մի քանի ապարդյուն հանդիպումներ Էին անցկացրել Յոահիմ Գաուկին հնարավոր փոխարինողի հարցի քննարկման շուրջ: Անգելա Մերկելը եւ Հորսթ Զեեհոֆերը չԷին ցանկանում պաշտպանել սոցիալ-դեմոկրատ Շտայնմայերի թեկնածությունը, որին առաջարկել Էր ԳՍԴԿ-ի ղեկավարությունը: Տեղի դիտորդների կարծիքով՝ դա վկայում Է այն մասին, որ կուսակցություններն արդեն սկսել են պայքարը Բունդեսթագի առաջիկա ընտրություններից առաջ:
Շտայնմայերի թեկնածությունը պաշտպանելու որոշումն ընդունվել Է նոյեմբերի 14-ի առավոտյան ՔԴՄ-ի եւ ՔՍՄ-ի նախագահությունների անդամների հետ Մերկելի եւ Զեեհոֆերի հեռուստախորհրդաժողովներից հետո:
Դաշնային ժողովը՝ հատուկ մարմին, որն ընտրելու Է նախագահին, նիստ կգումարի 2017 թվականի փետրվարի 12-ին: Այն բաղկացած Է շուրջ 1260 պատվիրակներից, որոնց կեսը կազմում են Բունդեսթագի պատգամավորները, մյուս կեսը՝ դաշնային երկրամասերի խորհրդարանների ներկայացուցիչները, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
