Մասնագետները պնդում են, որ հեռախոսի շփումը դեմքի, ականջների և ձեռքերի հետ կարող է առաջացնել աչքերի ալերգիա: Մասնագետները մետաղական իրերից ալերգիա ունեցող մարդկանց խորհուրդ են տալիս հեռախոսները պաշտպանիչ պատյաններով պատել:
