ՄԱԿ-ն դեկտեմբերի 9-ը հռչակել է ցեղասպանությունների զոհերի հիշատակի օր

ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեան ընդունել է նոր բանաձև, որը դեկտեմբերի 9-ը հռչակում է «Ցեղասպանության հանցագործության զոհերի հիշատակի և արժանապատվության և այս հանցագործության կանխարգելման միջազգային օր»:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է ՄԱԿ-ի պաշտոնական կայքը, բանաձևն ընդունվել է կոնսենսուսով. դ րա օգտին է քվեարկել 80 պետություն:
Բանաձևը կոչ է անում ՄԱԿ-ի անդամ բոլոր երկրներին, ինչպես նաև տարբեր միջազգային կազմակերպություններին և կառույցներին նշել Ցեղասպանության հանցագործության զոհերի միջևազգային օրը` բարձրացնելով տեղեկացվածությունը Ցեղասպանության մասին կոնվեցիայի վերաբերյալ:
Պաշտպանության համար պատասխանատվության (R2P) համաշխարհային կենտրոնը բանաձևի ընդունման համար առանձնահատուկ շնորհակալություն է հայտել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանը բանաձևի ընդունման նպատակով ներդրած ջանքերի համար:
ՄԱԿ-ում Հայաստանի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Զոհրաբ Մնացականյանն իր ելույթում շնորհակալություն է հայտնել բանաձևի ընդունման համար: «Ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշողությունը պետք է օգնի մեզ հաղթահարելու մեր ցավը, վշտակցությունն ու հավաքական մեղավորությունը, գործելու միասին, որպեսզի մեկընդմիշտ ազատենք աշխարհն այս ոչ մարդկային հանցագործությունից: ՄԱԿ-ն իր անդամների և համակարգի միջոցով պետք է ցույց տա իր կարողությունը այս նպատակին հասնելու ճանապարհին: Գործիքակազմից և կառուցվածքից բացի անհրաժեշտ է կամքի առկայություն: «Այլևս երբեք»-ը պետք է արտասանվի մեկ անգամ և վերջնականապես»,- նշել է Մնացականյանը` ընդգծելով, որ բոլորը հավաքական պատասխանատվություն են կրում կառուցելու այնպիսի մի համակարգ, որը կկանխարգելի ցեղասպանության հանցագործությունը: «Դա կլինի լավագույն ձևը, որով հարգանքի տուրք կմատուցվի զոհերի հիշատակին»,- եզրաձակել է ՄԱԿ-ում Հայաստանի մշտական ներկայացուցիչը:
