Տոկոսադրույքներն ԱՄՆ-ում շուտով կարող են բարձրանալ

ԱՄՆ-ի Կենտրոնական բանկի ղեկավարն ասել է, թե Ամերիկայի տնտեսության բարելավման արդյունքում հնարավոր է տոկոսադրույքների աճ: Այս մասին հաղորդում է «Ամերիկայի ձայնը»:
ԱՄՆ-ի ֆինանսների նախարար Ջանեթ Յելենը, խոսելով ԱՄՆ-ի տնտեսության բարելավման փաստի մասին, նշում է, որ շուտով կարելի է հրաժարվել գերցածր տոկոսադրույքների միջոցով տնտեսությանը զարկ տալու փորձառությունից: Կոնգրեսի ֆինանսական հարցերով հանձնաժողովում ելույթի ժամանակ նա ասել է, թե. “Շուտով տոկոսադրույքները կբարձրանան, սակայն դա տեղի կունենա աստիճանաբար”:
Տնտեսական անկման ժամանակահատվածում ԱՄՆ-ում մեծաթիվ մարդիկ կորցրին իրենց աշխատանքը ու տները: Դրա արդյուքնում ԱՄՆ-ի Կենտրոնական բանկն իջեցրեց տոկոսադրույքներն ընդհուպ մինչեւ զրոյի` տնտեսությանն ինչ որ կերպ զարկ տալու համար:
Ցածր տոկոսադրույքները նպաստում են աշխատատեղերի բացմանը, սակայն մյուս կողմից` զարկ տալիս դրամի արժեզրկմանը: Կենտրոնական բանկը անցյալ տարվա դեկտեմբերին շատ քիչ բարձրացրեց տոկոսադրույքները, ինչը մեծաթիվ ներդրողներ ակնկալում են նաեւ այս դեկտեմբերին:
Յելենի խոսքերով, տոկոսադրույքները երկար ժամանակով ցածր պահելու հանգամանքը կարող է հող նախապատրաստել ռիսկային ներդրումների համար ու վտանգի տակ դնել ֆինանսական կայունությունը: Եթե տոկոսադրույքները մնան շատ ցածր, դրամի արժեզրկման արագությունը նկատլիորեն կմեծանա, ինչը կստիպի Կենտրոնական բանկին արագ բարձրացնել տոկոսադրույքները, ինչն էլ կվնասի բազում բիզնեսների ու ներդրողների:
Նախագահի պաշտոնում ընտրված Դոնալդ Թրամփն առաջարկում է աշխատատեղերն ավելացնելու նպատակով կրճատել հարկերը ու ավելացնել դրամական հատկացումները ճանապարհաշինությանը ու ռազմական ուժերին: Քննադատների խոսքերով, այն նույնպես կարող է դառնալ դրամի արժեզրկման պատճառ:
Թրամփը մի քանի անգամ է հանդես եկել Կենտրոնական բանկի տնօրեն Յելենին քննադատող խոսքերով: Կոնգրեսում վերջինիս ուղղված հարցերն էլ վերաբերում էին նրան, թե ինչպես կարող է տնտեսության վրա ազդել Թրամփի առաջարկած քաղաքականությունը:
