Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական շփման գծում իրավիճակի սրման համար մեղավոր է նաեւ Եվրոպան։ «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման տեսակետ հայտնեց Եվրախորհրդարանի շվեդպատգամավոր Սորայա Փոստը։
«Իրականում ես չէի սպասում իրավիճակի նման սրման, եւ վստահ էի, որ սա շատ վատ ապրիլմեկյան կատակ էր, երբ կռիվը սկսվեց։ Իհարկե, շատ դժվար էր հավատալ, որ իրավիճակի այդ նախնական սրումն ի վերջո հանգեցրեց ողբերգության, երբ այդ փոքր հայ տղան զոհվեց հաջորդ օրը, այլ երեխաներ էլ վիրավորվեցին։ Սա մեզ պարզապես ցույց տվեց, թե ինչքան վտանգավոր կարող են լինել ավելի քան 20 տարի չլուծված մնացած հակամարտությունները։ Իրավիճակն ակնհայտորեն պայթյունավտանգ էր՝ պայմանավորված Ադրբեջանի ներսում առաջացած տնտեսական դժվարություններով, Ռուսաստանում եւ Թուրքիայում տեղի ունեցող նմանատիպ զարգացումներով։ Եվրամիության՝ խաղաղության հաստատմանն ուղղված ջանքերը Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում հաջողված չէին»,-ասաց շվեդ պատգամավորը։
Դիտարկմանը, թե արդյոք կարեւոր չէ՞ր պարզել եւ մատնանշել նախահարձակ կողմին, պատգամավորն ընդգծեց, որ շատ ավելի կարեւոր է գտնել հակամարտության լուծումը։
«Ես հուսով եմ, որ երկու երկրների քաղաքացիներն ավելի շատ վերահսկողություն կունենան քաղաքական անցուդարձի նկատմամբ, եւ ժողովրդավարությունը, մարդու իրավունքները լիակատար կիրացվեն տարածաշրջանում։ Սա խաղաղություն կառուցելու միակ կայուն տարբերակն է՝ ապահովելով տարածաշրջանում բոլոր քաղաքացիների ազատությունը։ Քաղաքական լուծման այլընտրանքը ռազմական լուծումն է, որն ինձ համար այլընտրանք չէ, սակայն ես նաեւ հավատում եմ, որ այդ քաղաքական լուծումը բխում է ներգրավված կողմերից եւ քաղաքացիներից, այն արտաքին ինչ-որ տեղից բխել չի կարող։ Ես իսկaպես կցանկանայի իմանալ, թե որն է ի վերջո այս հակամարտության լուծումը, սակայն կրկնում եմ՝ ներգրավված անձինք պետք է դա գտնեն։ Հայաստանի, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի, Ադրբեջանի ժողովրդի ձեռքերում է սեփական ճակատագիրը»,- նշեց նա։
Մեր այն հարցին, թե ինչ պետք է անել ապրիլյան պատերազմի ընթացքում Ադրբեջանի կողմից ԼՂՀ խաղաղ բնակչության՝ մասնավորապես տարեցների, ինչպես նաեւ պաշտպանության բանակի զինվորների նկատմամբ իրականացված վայրագությունների համար մեղավոր կողմին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելու հարցով, Եվրախորհրդարանի պատգամավորը պատասխանեց.
«Պատերազմի ժամանակ իրականացված բոլոր հանցագործությունները եւ վայրագությունները պետք է ներկայացվեն Արդարադատության միջազգային դատարան»։
