Վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն ընդունել է ԵԽԽՎ մոնիթորինգի հանձնաժողովի Հայաստանի հարցերով համազեկուցողներ Ալան Միլին եւ Ջուզեպպե Գալատիին:
Վարչապետը կարեւորել է Եվրոպայի խորհրդի հետ համագործակցությունը եւ ներկայացրել կառավարության գործունեության առաջնահերթություններն ու բարեփոխումների ուղղությամբ քայլերը: Կարեն Կարապետյանը նշել է, որ այժմ աշխատանքներ են տարվում տնտեսությունում առկա խնդիրների ախտորոշման ուղղությամբ, ինչի հիման վրա էլ կմշակվեն երկարաժամկետ հատվածում դրանց լուծման քայլերն ու գործողությունները:
Վարչապետի խոսքով՝ կառավարության կարճաժամկետ ծրագրում հստակ սահմանվել են այն միջոցառումները, որոնք կարող են արագ արդյունք ապահովել: Գործադիրի ղեկավարն ավելացրել է, որ դրանք միտված են լինելու բիզնեսի համար արդար եւ թափանցիկ դաշտի ապահովմանը, տարբեր ոլորտներում եւ ուղղություններով քաղաքացու՝ արդարության պահանջի բավարարմանը: «Կառավարությունն այսօր ստանձնել է բարեփոխումների իրականացման պատասխանատվություն, ինչը նշանակում է, որ փոփոխությունները մեկնարկել ենք առաջին հերթին մեզանից: Փոփոխություններ պետք է արվեն կառավարման համակարգում, տնտեսության զարգացման ծրագրերում, տարբեր ոլորտներում»,- ընդգծել է Կարեն Կարապետյանը՝ հավելելով, որ փոփոխությունների անհրաժեշտություն կա նաեւ քաղաքական մթնոլորտում: Վարչապետն ավելացրել է, որ կառավարության առաջնային խնդիրներից է լինելու մշակել եւ առաջարկել դատաիրավական ոլորտի բարեփոխումների փաթեթ՝ ուղղված նաեւ կոռուպցիայի դեմ պայքարին: Այդ առումով, Կարեն Կարապետյանը կարեւորել է նաեւ միջավայրի փոփոխությունը, ինչը կնպաստի կոռուպցիոն դրսեւորումների եւ ռիսկերի նվազեցմանը եւ ավելացրել, որ այդ ուղղությամբ արդեն իսկ կատարվել են մի շարք քայլեր:
Համազեկուցողները կարեւորել են նշված ուղղություններով կառավարության հետեւողական քաղաքականությունը, նշել, որ Եվրոպայի խորհուրդը պատրաստակամ է օժանդակություն ցուցաբերել մեր երկրին՝ բարեփոխումների իրականացման գործում եւ հաջողություններ մաղթել ժողովրդավարության զարգացման ճանապարհին առաջ գնալու համար: Համազեկուցողները շնորհակալություն են հայտնել ՀՀ կառավարությանը՝ Սիրիայի քաղաքացիներին ընդունելու եւ նրանց համար անհրաժեշտ պայմաններ ստեղծելու համար:
