Ուկրաինան տոնում է Արժանապատվության և ազատության տոնը, ինչն իրականում Եվրամայդանի 3–րդ տարեդարձի հիշատակումն է: Կանխատեսվում է, որ տոներին մոտ 100000 անմիջական մասնակից կներգրավվի, և քանի որ հատկապես ազգայնականները խոստացել էին օրը նշել զանգվածային բողոքի ակցիաներով, արդեն երեկ առավոտյան փակ էին մայրաքաղաք Կիևի կենտրոն հասցնող բոլոր հիմնական փողոցներն ու մետրոյի՝ Կրեշչատիկ, Ինստիտուտսկայա կայարանները:
 
Պետական մարմինների հավաստմամբ՝ երկու օրերի ընթացքում կարգը կպահպանեն ոստիկանության և Ազգային գվարդիայի շուրջ 18000, իսկ Կիևում՝ 6000 իրավապահներ: Կուժեղացվեն համարյա բոլոր կարևոր կառույցների ու ծառայությունների անվտանգության մակարդակը, շուրջ 12 կետում կանցկացվի առանձնահատուկ զննումներ, կարվի ամեն բան, որպեսզի կանխվեն հնարավոր սադրանքներն ամբողջ երկրում, որովհետև հայտնի է, որ Կիևից զատ՝ մոտ 380 զանգվածային միջոցառում է սպասվում:
 
Ցավոք, Եվրամայդանին հաջորդած տարիները, նույնիսկ ուկրաինական ամենամոլի ռուսատյացների ու արևմտամետների վկայությամբ, տարածքային կորստից, վատթարացած տնտեսական դրության հաստատումից ու պատերազմից բացի՝ ոչ մի լավ բան չտվին այդ երկրին: Եվ ազգայնականները, որոնք պատրաստվում են նաև Եվրամայդանով իշխանության եկած Պորոշենկոյի կյանքը դժոխքի վերածել, պատրաստվում են նրան հիշեցնել, որ հեղափոխությունը շարունակվում է, և որ Եվրամայդանը չհանգեցրեց այն ցանկալի արդյունքին, որին հասարակ մարդիկ այդքան սպասում էին:
 
Ինչ կստացվի այս նոր փուլի արդյունքում, ոչ ոք չի կարող կանխատեսել, բայց ակնհայտ է, որ Ուկրաինան այլևս չի դիմանա նոր, լուրջ ցնցումների:
