ՀՀ քննչական կոմիտեն այս տարվա հունվարից քննություն էր վարում «գրանտակերների» դեմ: Իրավապահ մարմիններին դիմել էր հենց գրանտատուն՝ Եվրոպական Միության գրասենյակը, որը ստուգումներ էր իրականացրել եւ հայտնաբերել, որ հատկացված դրամաշնորհը նպատակային չի օգտագործվել, եւ խոշոր գումար է յուրացվել: «Ժողովուրդ»-ն ավելի վաղ հայտնել էր, որ դրամաշնորհները յուրացնելու գործով երկու անձի` Հրայր Գյոնջյանի եւ Գարիկ Չիլինգարյանի նկատմամբ հայտարարարվել է հետախուզում: Եվ այսպես, ամիսներ անց «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հայտնի դարձավ, որ հետախուզվողներից Հրայր Գյոնջյանը «Հայաստանի բրոքերների ասոցիացիա» հասարակական կազմակերպության նախագահն է: Նրա գործունեությունը հիմնականում միջազգային ասպարեզում է, եւ դա է պատճառը, որ իրավապահները միջազգային հետախուզում են հայտարարել նրա նկատմամբ: Ավելին՝ պարզեցինք` նա տեւական ժամանակ բանակցություններ է վարել հայաստանյան մի շարք պետական կառույցների հետ:
