ԵԽ-ն առաջարկել է սառեցնել ԵՄ անդամակցության շուրջ բանակցությունները Թուրքիայի հետ

Եվրախորհրդարանում նոյեմբերի 22-ին կայացած «ԵՄ-Թուրքիա հարաբերություններ» խորագրով նիստի ժամանակ կոչ է արվել միառժամանակ դադարեցնել Թուրքիայի հետ անդամակցության բանակցությունները: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես» -ը` վկայակոչելով գերմանական Deutsche Welle-ն, նիստի ժամանակ քաղաքական խմբակցություններն արձանագրել են Թուրքիայում ժողովրդավարության, մարդու իրավունքների և օրենքի հարցում գրանցված հետընթացը:
Եվրամիության արտաքին գործերի ու անվտանգության քաղաքականության գերագույն ներկայացուցիչ Ֆեդերիկա Մոգերինին և Եվրոպական հարևանության քաղաքականության և ընդլայնման բանակցությունների հարցերով ԵՄ հանձնակատար Յոհանես Հանը ևս մեկ անգամ հիշեցրել են, որ մահապատժի վերականգնումը կնշանակի «Թուրքիայի օտարումը եվրոպական ընտանիքից»:
ԵԽ-ում ամենաշատ անդամ ունեցող Եվրոպական ժողովրդական կուսակցության անունից ելույթ ունեցող Մանֆրեդ Վեբերը նշել է, որ «օրինական պետության տեսանկյունից Թուրքիան հետ է Մյանմայից»: Նա պաշտպանել է այն տեսակետը, որ այս պահին անհրաժեշտ է սառեցնել պաշտոնական Անկարայի հետ բանակցությունները:Նա թերահավատորեն է մոտեցել Թուրքիայի կողմից դեպի Ռուսաստան և Չինաստան ուղղությունն ընտրելու հավանականությանը:
ԵԽ ամենամեծ երկրորդ խմբակցության` Սոցիալ-դեմոկրատների անունից ելույթ ունեցող իտալացի խորհրդարանական Ջիանի Պիտելլան ուշադրություն է հրավիրել Թուրքիայում ռազմական ձախողված հեղաշրջումից հետո սկսված զանգվածային ձերբակալությունների վրա: Նա կարծիք է հայտնել, որ բանակցությունների սառեցմամբ Էրդողանին «ուժեղ ուղերձ կհղվի»: «Մտքովս չէր անցնի, որ Սոցիալ-դեմոկրատները մի օր նման առաջարկ կանեն, սակայն այլ ելք չկա»,- ասել է նա:
Պահպանողականների խմբակցության անունից Սյեդ Քամալը ընդգծել է, որ Եվրամիությունն Անկարայի հետ հարաբերություններում պետք է արդար լինի թե իր, թե Թուրքիայի հանդեպ: Նա նշել է, որ անդամակցության փոխարեն պետք է այլ համագործակցության շուրջ աշխատել: Իսկ Լիբերալների խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչ Գույ Ֆերհոֆշթադը փաստել է, որ Թուրքիան չի հարմարվում Եվրոպայի սկզբունքների հետ: Կանաչների խմբակցության ներկայացուցիչ Ռեբեկա Հարմսը խոսել է այն մասին, որ Թուրքիան այրել է բոլոր կամուրջները: Իսկ Թուրքիայի հարցով զեկուցող Քեթի Փիրին, ում թուրքական իշխանո ւթյունները թույլ չէին տվել այցելել երկիր, ասել է, որ «Թուրքիայում տիրող իրադրության պայմաններում մեզ այլընտրանք չի մնում, քան միառժամանակ դադարեցնել բանակցությունները»:
