Շատերի կարծիքով զուգարանակոնքը  տան «ամենակեղտոտ» հատվածն է։ Իրականում կան այնպիսի իրեր ու մակերևույթներ տան մեջ, որոնք, ենթադրվում է, թե մաքուր են, սակայն զարմանալիորեն զուգարանակոնքերից ավելի աղտոտ են և բակտերիաներով լի, գրում է list25.com-ը։

ԱՄՆ-ում արագ սննդի կետերի հետազոտությունները ցույց են տվել, որ սննդի կետերում մատուցված սառույցը 70%-ով ավելի բակտերիաներ է պարունակում, քան զուգարանակոնքում առկա ջուրը։
