Երգչուհի Սոնա Շահգելդյանը աշխատում է անդադար` պարբերաբար իր երկրպագուների դատին հանձնելով նոր աշխատանքներ: Միաժամանակ, կարիերայում հաջողություններ գրանցելուց զատ` երգչուհին աչքաթող չի անում նա անձնական կյանքը: Ինչպես հայտնի է` Սոնայի որդին շուտով կդառնա մեկ տարեկան: Ավելին` լուրեր են տարածվել, թե երգչուհին կրկին պատրաստվում է մայրանալ: Թեմայի իսկությունը ճշտելու նպատակով Life.panorama.am-ը կապ հաստատեց երգչուհու հետ, ով հերքեց լուրը, բայց ավելացրեց.
«Ոչ, հիմա բալիկի չեմ սպասում, բայց Աստծո կամոք, իհարկե, կրկին երեխաներ կունենամ: Առհասարակ բալիկներ շատ եմ սիրում շատ կցանկանամ, որ ընտանիքս մեծ լինի: Ամեն ինչ առջևում է»:
Անդրադառնալով աշխատանքային գործունեությանը` Սոնա Շահգելդյանը նշեց. «Այս պահին մի շարք ծրագրեր ունեմ, որոնք իրար հետից կներկայացնեմ գալիք տարվա սկզբին: Սպասվում են նոր երգեր, տեսահոլովակներ, համերգներ, նա մենահամերգ Երաևանում, որն ինձ համար շատ սպասված է»:
Մեզ հետ զրույցի ընթացքում Սոնա Շահգելդյանը հիշեց, նա վերջերս ԱՄՆ-ում կայացած «Pan Armenian Entertainment Awards 2016» մրցանակաբաշխությունը: Խոսելով այդ միջոցառմանը իրեն չհրավիրելու մասին` Սոնան նշեց.
«2010-ին ես մասնակցել եմ «Նոր ալիք» մրցույթին, որտեղ հաղթանակ տարա` հավատացեք, որ այդ մրցանակից այն կողմ ինձ այլ մրցանակներ հարկավոր չեն, քանի որ այդ ժամանակ ես ոչ միայն ինձ, այլ երկրիս հաղթանակ բերեցի: Երբեք չեմ խնդրում, որ ինձ հրավիրեն այս կամ այն համերգին, երբեք ծանոթ-բարեկամ գործոնը ինձ մոտ չեմ աշխատեցնում: Ես չեմ աշխատում, որ ինձ հրավիրեն այս կամ այն մրցանակաբաշխությանը ու մրցանակներ տան, ես աշխատում եմ իմ հանդիսատեսի համար, որոնք ինձ սիրում են ու գնահատում: Ինձնից բացի շատ այլ երգիչ-երգչուհիներ չկային այդ մրցանակաբաշխությանը, պատճառը` ինքս էլ չգիտեմ: Կարծում եմ` պատճառներից մեկն էլ այն էր, որ շատ մարդկանց համար մրցակից եմ: Փաստ է, որ այդ օրը բացի տաղանդաշատ երգիչներից, հրավիրված էին նա նրանք, ովքեր առհասարակ երգել չգիտեին: Սա էլ հարցի մյուս կողմն է»:
Երգչուհին ընդգծեց. «Երբեք ինձ չեմ կոտորել մրցանակներ ստանալու համար, ինձ համար շատ ավելի կարոր արժեքներ կան կյանքում: Կարորն այն է, որ երգչուհին կենդանի ձայնով երգել կարողանա: Բեմում երգչուհուց միայն երգել է պահանջվում, այլ ոչ թե ինքն իրեն ցուցադրել: Այսօր ով ձայն չունի, փորձում է այլ միջոցներով գրավել հանդիսատեսին, ինչը շատ շինծու է դիտվում: Ինքս մասնակցում եմ այն համերգներին, որտեղ պետք է հնչի կենդանի ձայն, ինձ համար ամենագնահատելին հենց դա է: Ոչ մեկին ոչինչ չունեմ ապացուցելու, վաղուց եմ ապացուցել: Ուրախ եմ, որ սիրված եմ իմ հանդիսատեսի կողմից, ես էլ աշխատում եմ միայն նրանց համար»:
