Ճանապարհային պատահարների մասին խոսելիս՝ բոլորիս մոտ միշտ լինում է ներքին մի համոզմունք, որ դա մեզ հետ երբեք չի պատահի.. Որ այս կամ այն հերթական սարսափելի վթարը մեզանից շատ ու շատ հեռու է։ Աստված մեզ բոլորիս թող պահպանի նման դժբախտություններից, երբեք և երեք չզգանք այն, ինչ զգում են պատահարի կողմերը, երկուսն էլ..
Մի քանի վիճակագրական թվեր՝ յուրաքանչյուր տարի ՃՏՊ-ների հետևանքով աշխարհում մահանում է 1 300 000 մարդ, իսկ եթե ցուցանիշը բաժանենք ժամանակին, ստացվում է, որ յուրաքանչյուր 3 րոպեն` մեկ երեխա: Այս և շատ այլ ցուցանիշներ վկայում են այն մասին, որ ճանապարհային երթևեկության անվտանգությունը դառնում է թիվ մեկ խնդիրներից մեկը: Խնդիրը գտնվում է ՄԱԿ-ի ուշադրության կենտրոնում, Հայաստանը միացել է նրա կողմից 2010-2020թթ «Գործողությունների տասնամյակ» ծրագրին...
Բայց.. Կա մի մեծ բայց.. Մենք պետք է կարողանանք յուրաքանչյուրս մեր մասնակցությամբ նվազեցնել այս սարսափելի թվերը.. Մեզ տանը սպասում եմ, և թե մեքենայի ղեկին և թե հետիոտնի կարգավիճակում պետք է պատասխանատվություն զգանք մեր և շրջապատի կյանքի համար...
Երեկվա դեպքը շատ մեծ արձագանք ստացավ՝ շեշտադրությունը սևեռելով վարորդի պաշտոնին... Ախր ի՞նչ պաշտոն, ի՞նչ համարանիշ, ի՞նչ մեքենայի մակնիշ ու գին, ի՞նչ կարևոր է հիմա քննարկել այս ամենը...
