Եվրախորհրդի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատարը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանում տիրող իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ

Եվրախորհրդի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատար Նիլս Մուժնիեկսը անդրադառնալով Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանում քննվող ադրբեջանցի փաստաբան Խալիդ Բաղըրովի գործին լուրջ մտահոգություն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանում մարդու իրավունքների ներկայիս իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ:
Այս մասին հայտնում է ադրբեջանական azadliq.info լրատվական գործակալությունը:
Ադրբեջանցի փաստաբան Խալիդ Բաղըրովը 2014 թվականին դատարանում քաղաքական մի քանի ակտիվիստների եւ ընդդիմադիր գործիչների պաշտպանելու պատճառով ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների կողմից զրկվել է իր փաստաբանական արտոնագրից:
Բաղըրովը այս խնդրով դիմել է Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարան:
Եվրախորհրդի մարդու իրավունքների հանձնակատար Նիլս Մուժնիեկսը նամակով դիմել է ՄԻԵԴ-ին կոչ անելով բավարարել ադրբեջանցի փաստաբանի հայցը:
Մուժնիեկսը նշելով, որ Ադրբեջանը ի վիճակի չէ կատարել Եվրախորհրդի անդամի իր պարտականությունները եւ պաշտպանել մարդու իրավունքները, խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնել Ադրբեջանում խոսքի ազատության, դատական համակարգի անկախության եւ մարդու իրավունքների իրավիճակի վերաբերյալ:
Ադրբեջանը միջազգային իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունների կողմից հրապարակված մարդու եւ մամուլի ազատության վերաբերյալ զեկույցներում գրեթե միշտ դասվում է ամենաանազատ երկրների շարքում:
Ադրբեջանում քաղբանտարկյալների թիվը հասնում է 119-ի:
Ադրբեջանի ոստիկանությունը եւ անվտանգության ուժերը հետեւողականորեն շարունակում են օգտագործել բոլոր միջոցները՝ հետապնդելու իշխանություններին քննադատող անձանց: Այս նպատակով Ադրբեջանում լայնորեն կիրառվում է շանտաժը, անձնական կյանքի վերաբերյալ տեսանյութերի հրապարակումը, նրանց դեմ ուղղված հարկերից խուսափելու, թմրամոլության եւ խուլիգանության մեղադրանքները:
