«Վարչապետ Կարեն Կարապետյանն առաջիկայում կդառնա ՀՀԿ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի առաջին տեղակալը: Տեղեկությանը «Հայկական ժամանակ»-ի զրույցում չհերքեց ՀՀԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Վ. Բաղդասարյանը: «Ամեն ինչ հնարավոր է, ոչինչ մի բացառեք»,- ասաց նա:
Շաբաթօրյա համագումարում ՀՀԿ-ն իր կանոնադրության մեջ փոփոխություն կատարեց և փոխնախագահի պոստը փոխարինեց տեղակալով՝ առանձնացնելով առաջին տեղակալի կարգավիճակը: Արդյո՞ք այդ կարգավիճակը հենց Կարեն Կարապետյանի համար չի ստեղծվել: «Մենք վաղուց էինք պնդում, որ այդ պոստը պետք է լինի, որ այն զբաղեցնողը փոխարինի կուսակցության նախագահին՝ վերջինիս երկրում չլինելու դեպքում:
Իսկ այժմ նման պարագաներում ԳԱ նիստ անցկացնելու հարցը կանոնակարգված չէ»,- հավելեց Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանը: Այդպիսով, Կ. Կարապետյանը Սերժ Սարգսյանից հետո ՀՀԿ-ում դառնալու է երկրորդ մարդը և ունենալու է առանց Սերժ Սարգսյանի ՀՀԿ ԳՄ նիստ անցկացնելու իրավունք:
Իսկ ինչ վերաբերում է առաջին տեղակալին, Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանի խոսքերով թեկնածուի հարցը կքննարկվի հինգշաբթի օրվա ԳՄ, ապա՝ խորհրդի նիստի ժամանակ»:
