Գիտնականները մի շարք հետազոտություններ են իրականացրել, որոնց արդյունքում պարզվել է, որ մեղվի թույնը կնճիռների դեմ պայքարի ամենալավ միջոցն է: Կորեացի հետազոտողները կատարել են մի շարք աշխատանքներ, որպեսզի ապացուցեն դիմահարդարման սպարեզում մեղվի թույնի օգտակարությունը:
Նրանք մեղվի թույնի հիման վրա ստացել են մի նոր կոսմետիկ միջոց, որը մոտ ժամանակներս կփոխարինի կնճիռների դեմ պայքարող ամենաարդյունավետ համարվող ժամանակակից միջոցներին:
Մեղվի թույնի հիման վրա պատրաստված միջոցները օգտագործելու ժամանակ հնարավոր են թույլ ծակծկոցներ, մաշկի գրգռվածություն, ինչպես լինում է մեղվի կծելուց հետո: Դա շուտ անցնում է, սակայն կոսմետիկ միջոցը օգտագործելուց որոշ ժամանակ անց, լավանում է արյան շրջանառությունը և օրգանիզմը սկսում է արտադրել էլաստին և կոլլագեն:
