Գիտնականները նոր հակակարիեսային միջոց են հայտնաբերել

Հնդիկ գիտնականները անցկացրել են հետազոտություն,որն իր մեջ ներառել է 12-15 տարեկան 68 կամավորների: Հետազոտության արդյունքներով հայտարարել են, որ պանիրն օգնում է կանխել կարիեսը:
Նրանք չափել են բերանի խոռոչում թթվայնության մակարդակը կաթի, յոգուրտի և պանրի գործածումից առաջ և դրանից հետո: Եթե PH-ն իջնում է 5,5-ից, ապա ավելանում է ատամի էմալի քայքայման վտանգը: Որքան բարձր է թթվայնությունը՝ այդքան քիչ է ոչնչացնող գործընթացների հավանականությունը:
Գիտնականները հետազոտության մասնակիցներին բաժանել են երեք խմբի: Առաջին խումբն օգտագործել է պանիր, երկրորդը՝ կաթ, իսկ երրորդը՝ առանց շաքարի յոգուրտ: Այդ մթերքները նրանք կերել են 3 րոպեի ընթացքում, իսկ հետո ջրով մաքրել են բերանը: Մոտավոր 30 րոպե հետո գիտնականները կրկին չափել են թթվայնությունը:
Կաթ և յոգուրտ օգտագործածների բերանի խոռոչում չի նկատվել թթվայնության փոփոխություն, իսկ ովքեր պանիր էին կերել՝ նրանց բերանի խոռոչում յուրաքանչյուր չափման ժամանակ ավելի բարձր թթվայնություն է գրանցվել: Փաստորեն պանիրը հակակարիեսային հատկություններ ունի:
Հնարավոր է, որ պանիր ուտելուց հետո թթվայնության բարձրացումը որոշ չափով պայմանավորված է նրանով, որ սնունդ ծամելիս թքարտադրությունն ավելանում է: Պանրի մեջ նաև կան միացություններ, որոնք մնում են ատամի վրա և դրանք պաշտպանում են:
