Վարդենիս քաղաքում գործող «Աստղավարդ» հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների ծնողների» հասարակական կազմակերպությունը հիմնադրել է սոցիալական ձեռնարկություն, որտեղ զբաղվածություն են գտել հաշմանդամություն ունեցող կամ հաշմանդամ երեխաներ ունեցող ընտանիքի անդամ հանդիսացող 20 կին: Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրեց «Աստղավարդ» հաշմանդամություն ունեցող երեխաների ծնողների հասարակական կազմակերպության նախագահ Մելանյա Եփրեմյանը, «Թուֆենկյան Հիմնադրամ»-ի դրամաշնորհի ֆինանսական միջոցներով «Աստղավարդ» ՀԿ-ում կազմակերպվել են կար ու ձեւի եւ գորգագործության եռամսյա դասընթացներ հաշմանդամ կանանց կամ հաշմանդամ երեխա ունեցող երեխաների մայրերի կամ քույրերի համար: Արդյունքում՝ 48 շահառու ստացել է մասնագիտական կրթություն: «Կարուձեւի ուսուցման մասնակիցները հմտություններ են ձեռք բերել եւ կողմնորոշվել մասնագիտություն ձեռք բերելու հարցում, ինչի շնորհիվ էլ «Աստղավարդն» այսօր ունի սոցիալական ձեռնարկություն: Ծրագրի դրամաշնորհը եւ ֆինանսավորումը վաղուց ավարտվել են, բայց մեր սեփական ուժերով ու միջոցներով կարի արտադրամասը այսօր շարունակում է գործել: Ուսուցումը շարունակվում է, կարուձեւին տիրապետած մեր շահառուները ընդունում են կարի ու հագուստի վերանորոգման պատվերներ, իրենց աշխատանքից որոշակի եկամուտ ստանում,- հավաստեց Մելանյա Եփրեմյանը:

Կենտրոնի շահառուները նաեւ գորգագործություն են սովորում:

Գորգագործության պարապմունքների արդյունքում շահառուները ե՛ւ մասնագիտություն են ստանում, ե՛ւ շահույթ, ինչպես նաեւ անցկացնում իրենց արդյունավետ ժամանցը: Հասարակական կազմակերպությունն իր ուժերով ու հնարավորություններով ստացված արտադրանքը հիմնականում իրացնում է ցուցահանդես-վաճառքներում, որից ստացված եկամուտներն ուղղում է սոցիալական ձեռնարկության գործունեության հետագա ապահովմանը:
