ՀՀ Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը դեկտեմբերի 4-ի երեկոյան «Արմենիա Մարիոթ» հյուրանոցի «Տիգրան Մեծ» սրահում մասնակցել է Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միության 110-ամյակի առիթով կազմակերպված գալա ընթրիքին: Հանրապետության Նախագահը հանդես է եկել ելույթով և շնորհավորական խոսք հղել ՀԲԸՄ անդամներին և միջոցառման բոլոր մասնակիցներին: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ին տեղեկացրին ՀՀ Նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության և տեղեկատվության միջոցների հետ կապերի վարչությունից:

«Գործունեությունը սկսելով նախորդ դարի սկզբին՝ Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունը իր 150 տեղական կազմակերպություններով 110 տարի կատարեց, և վստահ եմ՝ շարունակելու է կատարել անփոխարինելի գործունեություն: Եթե ես հիմա սկսեմ թվարկել բոլոր այն ծրագրերը, իրականացված գործունեությունը, ապա գրեթե ոչինչ ասած չեմ լինի: Անփոխարինելի բառը, կարծում եմ, շատ ճիշտ բնութագիրն է այն գործունեության, որ մի խումբ մարդիկ կարողացան իրականացնել ճիշտ ժամանակին, գտնել այն ճիշտ ճանապարհը, որով մեծ նպաստ բերեցին ինչպես հայապահպանությանը, այնպես էլ անկախ Հայաստանի, ընդհանրապես, հայ ժողովրդի լինելիությանը: 

Ի՞նչն է Բարեգործական ընդհանուր միության և մնացած բոլոր կառույցների տարբերությունը. իմ կարծիքով, առաջին հերթին այս մարդիկ՝ լինեն կենտրոնական վարչության ներկայացուցիչներ, թե պարզապես անդամներ՝ բարեգործներ, երբեք որևէ ակնկալիք չեն ունեցել և շարժվել են, առաջ են գնացել բարեգործության շատ պարզ կանոններով` երբեք չեն ակնկալել, որ որևէ մեկը պետք է իրենց երախտագիտություն հայտնի բարեգործության համար և երբեք միտք չեն ունեցել իրենց բարեգործությամբ հագուրդ տալու անձնական ինչ-ինչ նկրտումների: Նրանք երբեք որևէ խնդիր, որևէ առիթ չեն փնտրել սահմանափակելու մեզ համար կենսական անհրաժեշտություն ունեցող իրենց գործունեությունը: Երբեք որևէ խնդիր չեն ունեցել որևէ իշխանության հետ: Սա չափազանց կարևոր հանգամանք է»,-իր խոսքում նշել է ՀՀ Նախագահը:

Սերժ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունն անշահախնդիր բարեգործ է և հենց այդ մոտեցմամբ է իրականացնում Հայաստանի և հայության զարգացման ծրագրերը: Նախագահը մաղթել է ՀԲԸՄ-ին՝ նվիրատուների առատություն և առատաձեռնություն, անդամների ստվարություն: Հ անրապետության Նախագահը ցանկություն է հայտնել, որ Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունը հավերժ պահանջված լինի և մշտապես կարողանա կատարել իր առաքելությունը:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը խոսել է նաև Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունից ակնկալիքների մասին, նշելով, որ իր ցանկությունն է, որպեսզի Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունը շատ ավելի հայաստանակենտրոն դառնա, ինչից կշահեն և՛ Բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությունը, և՛ նրա բոլոր շահառուները: ՀՀ Նախագահը ցանկություն է հայտնել նաև, որպեսզի Միությունն իր միջոցների մի հիմնական մասը պահի կայուն ֆինանսական համակարգ ունեցող Հայաստանում` դրանով ավելի շատ շահ ստանալով և այդպիսով ավելացնելով բարեգործության ծավալները: «Ցանկանում եմ, որպեսզի բոլորիս ձգտումները լինեն համահունչ: Ցանկանում եմ, որ աշխատանքից ազատ ժամերին մենք վիճենք զարգացման ճանապարհների մասին: Ցանկանում եմ, որպեսզի բոլորս համարենք, որ անկախ նրանից՝ մենք Նախագահ ենք, թե այլ պաշտոնյա, մենք գործարար ենք, թե նվիրատու, բոլորս համարենք, որ դա մեր ծառայությունն է, մեր շնորհակալությունն ու երախտագիտությունն է մեր ժողովրդին, որ մեզ ծնել է»,-ասել է Նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը և մաղթել Հայկական բարեգործական ընդհանուր միությանը մեծ շուքով տոնել 200-ամյակը և հետագա հոբելյանները:
