Ճառը կընթերցվի դեկտեմբերի 10-ին կայանալիք նոբելյան ճաշկերույթի ժամանակ: Դիլանն անձամբ ներկա կլինի արդյոք, չի հաղորդվում:

Նոյեմբերի 16-ին երաժիշտը Շվեդիայի ակադեմիային հայտնել Էր, որ չի կարողանա ժամանել գրականության գծով Նոբելյան մրցանակի հանձնմանը՝ վկայակոչելով զբաղվածությունը եւ այլ պարտավորություններ, որոնց շուրջը համաձայնություն Է ձեռք բերվել դեռ մինչեւ դափնեկիրների անունների հայտարարումը: Դիլանն ըստ որում ափսոսանք Է հայտնել եւ ընդգծել, որ պարգեւն ընդունելը պատիվ Է իր համար:
