Տարեսկզբից Միջերկրական ծովով Եվրոպա ժամանելու ճանապարհին զոհվել կամ անհետ կորել են ավելի քան 4,7 հազար միգրանտներ: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը, հայտնել Է Միգրացիայի միջազգային կազմակերպությունը (ՄՄԿ):
ՄՄԿ-ի տվյալներով՝ հունվարի 1-ից Եվրոպա Է ժամանել 351 հազար 80 մարդ: Վերաբնակների հիմնական հոսքն ընդունել են Հունաստանը (շուրջ 172 հազար մարդ) եւ Իտալիան (ավելի քան 173 հազար): Ավելի քան 5,4 հազար մարդ ափ Է իջել Իսպանիայում:
Նոյեմբերի 28-ից մինչեւ դեկտեմբերի 4-ը Հունաստան են ժամանել 144 միգրանտներ ու փախստականներ, Իտալիա՝ 2272-ը: Հունաստան ժամանածների հիմնական խմբերը սիրիացիներ են, աֆղանցիներ ու պակիստանցիներ, Իտալիա ժամանածները՝ նիգերիացիներ, Էրիթրեացիներ ու գվինեացիներ:
Տարեսկզբից 4715 մարդ Է զոհվել կամ անհետ կորել ծովում: Զոհերը հատկապես շատ են Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկայից Իտալիա միգրացիոն երթուղում (4223 մարդ): Տարեսկզբից Թուրքիայից Հունաստան ճանապարհին զոհվել կամ անհետ կորել Է 429 միգրանտ, Հյուսիսային Աֆրիկայից Իսպանիա տանող ճանապարհին՝ 63 միգրանտ, հաղորդել Է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
