Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Վահե Նիկոյանի նախագահությամբ կայացել են «Կանաչ քաղաք» գործողությունների ծրագրի հանրային լսումները: Երևանի քաղաքապետարանում կազմակերպված լսումներին մասնակցել են քաղաքապետարանի համապատասխան ստորաբաժանումների ղեկավարներ, ինչպես նաև ծրագրի խորհրդատու և փորձագիտական ճանաչված կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչներ, բնապահպանական ՀԿ-ներ: 

Ողջունելով մասնակիցներին և շնորհակալություն հայտնելով ծրագրի նկատմամբ ցուցաբերած հետաքրքրության համար՝ Երևանի քաղաքապետի տեղակալ Վահե Նիկոյանը նշել է, որ հանրային լսումների հիմնական նպատակը մայրաքաղաքի բնապահպանական խնդիրների լուծման հարցում տեղական փորձագետներին սեփական ներդրումներով հանդես գալու հնարավորություն տալն է:
«Այսօր քննարկելու ենք նաև «Կանաչ քաղաք» ծրագրի մեջ ընգրկվելիք բնապահպանական ցուցանիշները, որոնց ճիշտ ընտրությունը թույլ կտա հետագայում ավելի արդյունավետ և նպատակային իրականացնել ցուցանիշների բարելավմանն ուղղված միջոցառումների ծրագիրը և գնահատել ձեռք բերված արդյունքները: Մայրաքաղաքի բնակչության թվի շարունակական աճի պարագայում էական նշանակություն է ստանում քաղաքացի-շրջակա միջավայր համաչափության ապահովումը: Գործողությունների ծրագրի իրականացման արդյունքում մենք ակնկալում ենք բնապահպանական զգալի դրական ազդեցություն, արտանետումների ծավալների նվազեցում և բնական ռեսուրսների արդյունավետ օգտագործում: Մենք նաև լիահույս ենք, որ պետական, մասնավոր, գիտական և հասարակական հատվածի ներկայացուցիչների հետ Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի համագործակցությունը կլինի շարունակական» - նշել է Վահե Նիկոյանը:
«Կանաչ քաղաք» գործողությունների ծրագրի հանրային լսումների ընթացքում ներկայացվել են ծրագրի ընդհանուր դրույթներն ու ռազմավարությունը: Քննարկվել են նաև «Կանաչ քաղաք» գործողությունների ծրագրի մշակման և դրա իրագործելիության հետ կապված մի շարք հարցեր, մասնավորապես, տրանսպորտային ենթակառուցվածքների, ջրամատակարարման, աղբահանության կազմակերպման:
