Հայաստանը ներկայացնող 3 ֆիլմեր հավակնում են հեղինակավոր «Ոսկե գլոբուս» 74-րդ կինոմրցանակաբաշխության շրջանակում մրցանակի արժանանալ «Լավագույն օտարերկրյա ֆիլմ» անվանակարգում: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը` վկայակոչելով «Ոսկե Գլոբուս»-ի պաշտոնական կայ քը, մրցանակի հավակնող ֆիլմերն են` «Վերջին բնակիչը», «Տաք երկիր, սառը ձմեռ» և «Երկրաշարժ»-ը:
Ռեժիսոր Ջիվան Ավետիսյանի նկարահանած ֆիլմը «Վերջին բնակիչը» ստեղծվել է 5 երկրների համատեղարտադրությամբ․ Հայաստան, Լիտվա, Շվեդիա, Լիբանան և ԱՄՆ։ Ֆիլմի նկարահանումները տեղի ենունեցել Արցախում՝ Խաչմաչ գյուղ
